mouseketab.....Carol got a reaction from Avatab.... Steve in First Look At Disney's Next Ships
Look's cool. However, every time I read a Disney News Blog article, I just want to pull out my editing pen!! (Passive voice, negative tone) SHOULD BE active voice, positive tone, present tense!!
Here is how it SHOULD read.
Our fleet has the most beautiful ships at sea, and the three newest vessels setting sail in 2021, 2022 and 2023 are exceptional. This first, early rendering depicts the magnificent exterior of the next Disney ships, which  elevates family cruise vacations to a whole new level. Disney Chairman and CEO Bob Iger revealed  the rendering today at The Walt Disney Company’s annual shareholders meeting.

In keeping with the distinct Disney Cruise Line style, the new ships  embody the elegance and romance of the golden age of ocean cruising with unique touches all their own. The three new vessels  offer more innovation, new technologies, spectacular entertainment, and more Disney stories and characters than ever before. Ingenuity and innovation from stem to stern amazes and delights Disney Cruise Line guests of all ages.
We  bring Disney’s iconic stories and franchises on our new ships to life in thrilling and surprising ways, building on the creativity we’ve introduced across our existing fleet. During the past several years we have added innovations such as Marvel and Star Wars themed spaces in our kids’ clubs…dazzling stage shows like “Beauty and the Beast”, unrivaled in their originality and visual presentation…and an entirely new genre of dining experience combining live entertainment, storytelling and interactive moments at our Tiana’s Place and Rapunzel’s Royal Table restaurants.

Each new ship is approximately 140,000 gross tons – slightly larger than the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy – and each is currently planned to include about 1,250 guest staterooms. Design plans, ship names, and itineraries are still in development, and we are already dreaming up exciting new ways to create the world’s most magical oceangoing adventures.

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) that is one of the cleanest-burning fuels available, powers these new vessels .

You might say Disney Cruise Line is on the threshold of reimagining the cruise industry once again, just like we did in 1998 with our very first ship. I am excited about the expansion of our fleet, and I know our guests will be, too.

As we continue to unveil more details about our new ships, Disney Parks Blog readers can expect to be some of the first to know. Keep following along for more exciting updates!

mouseketab.....Carol got a reaction from Roberta in Truth to this post?
Yes, she has been there for a long time. I know of her, but haven't met her personally. There are some in the Fort interwebz groups that really like her, there are some in the Fort interwebz group that really dislike her.
Jason Adams is just as knowledgeable as anyone else, he participates and sponsors Fort Fiends.
    Simply, he is THE MAN!!
(Please remove Hilda's phone number from you post, we don't want to be accused of allowing those that troll the interwebz and due harm to have her personal information).

Oh, by the way, Randy  booked site 109. Don't know if ya'll remember him, but he used to be Element Camper, many, many moons ago. Also used to have a T@B, but has gotten a larger camper now. He lives in TN, and I messaged him about this weekend.

Wanna take a bet that it's almost the same show, except instead of tour guide stumbling in there, it is Russell and Dug stumbling in there and learning to be friends with the animals.

mouseketab.....Carol got a reaction from caveat lector in Hollywood Studios Name Change?
I've always called it the Studios. Way back in 1997 on our very first trip, the rumors were starting to circulate that the MGM name was going to be dropped, and the marquees on the buses simply said "Studios", so that is what I've been calling it all along.

I completely agree!  For the last 10 or so years we have avoided traveling I-4 through Orlando to the Fort.  We ALWAYS take 417 from Sanford to 536 in LBV.  On Thursday morning when driving solo to get the motorhome from the shop, I thought I would give I-4 through Orlando a try....  Boy was I ever glad that I wasn't driving the motorhome or any other vehicle of size.  The road was a total mess!
If they doubled the tolls on 417, I would still pay it just to have a peaceful and easy drive to the Fort.

If space wasn't an issue, I think he should get a little trailer like Carol's and paint it to look like Herbie.

I'm booked in Site 113. Rick probably won't camp, but it's close enough that I can probably talk him into coming for the potluck.

Yes, I'm still alive. A little bird told me that Dave was embarrassing himself by doing a TR, so I needed to read how he crashed and burned..........this time. I sure hope he didn't run into Melvin the Moose on his cruise. All we need now is for TnBob to show up.

Because idiot guests feed the squirrels, they are terrible. They steal your food, chew on your propane lines, hide stuff under your trailer and bark at you for sitting near their "stuff".

The turkeys wander everywhere. I miss the peacocks I've got a picture of several at the Fort many years ago. They were beautiful.
I rode my scooter on the path between WL and FW one time about dusk. The deer were everywhere!! One actually jumped right out in front of me. Thought I was going to hit it.

I REFUSE to use MDE while in the parks. I will make my three FP+ and dining reservation before I get into a park, then load them into my calendar app so that my phone buzzes at me when it's time to get to my next attraction or meal, and that's it. I don't tweet, snap, or #anything, and posting pictures here or to family on FB can wait.
