  1. Have you taken your trailer to the scales to verify that you are not over the load rating of the tires? Also, take a 8ft level to the side of the tires and verify that your axles are in alignment. Constant scrubbing raises the temp and can cause delamination of the tread.
  2. But that does not shut the gas off if a trailer flips. Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk
  3. What you have (i.e. Class A, TT, 5th wheel): 02 Coleman Taos popup If you're towing (so TT or 5th wheel) how heavy is it: 2,750 lbs max If you tow, what is your tow vehicle: 2004 Mercury Monterey 4.2L Gas mileage: 18.5 mpg normal, 15mpg towing Do you like it, love it or hate it (this applies to both the tow vehicle and what you're towing (or driving if Class A or C): Love them both, we are campers that have a nice bed. We might be moving up to a small TT. There is a few 21ft 3klbs bunk beds with queen bed layouts being made now. Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk
  4. I am honestly surprised that campers don't have an inertia shut off like how cars do for gasoline/ diesel. Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk
  5. Did you verify that it is actualy the mail seal and not form the back area of the pan? I can't remember about the 2001 trans if there is an inspection/filler plate or if you have to remove the starter to see down into the trans bell housing. The insides of the bell housing would be covered in oil if the rear main was leaking.
  6. The popup serves to give the group privacy, usualy there is no one behind you and trees on both sides. Having it sideways frees up more space for parking.
  7. ups, 1500 not 1600. I found the 2000 loop quite as along as you didn't back up to the road. I missed the part about renting from "Fort Camper Rental". My popup is small enough (8ft box) that I turn it sideways in some sites and the stabs are still on the concreat. But I have also sceen 10ft boxes do the same thing since the stabs are usualy mounted inboard they are usualy just under 8ft appart. Fort Camper Rental units are big/ heavy and I don't think they would push it sideways. I would send them your popup and tent sizes, request a quite site away from dogs, and are willing to change lo
  8. If you have a large tent, you might want to go with a popup loop, 2000 or 1600 to get a larger sand pad. 2000 shoudl be quite. Also, all loops can/will be pet loops.
  9. Do you have a reason to go camping near the Jayco factory? You might get a better install by taking it back and haveing hte factory guys install the skylight. In disclouser, I have had bad experiences with hack jobs done at dealerships.
  10. Sounds like they wanted to sell you the camper on the lot the entire time. My dad had a Ford dealer try to pass off as the custom ordered E-150. The one on the lot had everything he wanted but the wrong rear end gearing and didn't have the limited slip diff, which lowered the tow rating. Perhapase, you could have CW comp the sewage hose, water line, leveling blocks, ect to make up for the hassle.
  11. http://bauerproducts.com/replacementkeys.php I am not sure what nextday or 2 day shipping is, but if you ahve the number on the key, you can order a new one. From doing a quick google search, yours might be J301.
  12. Chances are the deal has the key instock but they would need to know the number on the key. Manafactures are cheep and will use the same lock for years on all of there products. All the pre1997 Colemans used the 1101X key post 1996 use the 8025 Key. Most aftermarket / replacement compartment doors use the 751 key. To give you a clue as to how few keys most of the RV industry uses, the old camp host at Big Medows in Shenandoah NP had a key ring that he claimed could unlock all but the wierd RVs and it fit in his pocket. On check in, he told you if you left your keys at home to come see him.
  13. In the Popup world, the camper keys are almsot al lthe same. Does your key have a # on the head? try calling local dealers and see if they have the lock number key in stock. Also, Ace HW can make copies. They have to physicaly match the key because the number on the key is the lock number and not the normal key code.
  14. What GPS are you using. If you are using Waze or Google maps, search for Fort Wilderness, it will auto correct to "The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort" and that will navigate you to the check in line. hummm, So, if I work with Waze to add the sites to the map, would you perfer 1642 Timper Trl (the road time for the 1600 loop) or do you think 1642 Fort Wilderness Trl would be better.....
  15. I like the look better then the fake big rig look. It should also free Soave up under the hood to help with packaging. I would have liked to see the good slop down more for aero looks thought. It kind of looks like the 90s trucks. Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk
  16. We are going on another cruise Alaska sailing 6/26/16 Hopefully the oldest one is eating better by then. We will also be bringing 5lbs of peanut butter and baby bell cheeses. Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk
  17. Yep usually 5 gallons to fill the tank. Sent from my XT1060 using Tapatalk
  18. bingo. Now, also add in that you already have some one coming to WDW and now they can steer them to the less occupied parks. Example, WDW knows 2 adults with no kids are coming, they could adjust the FP and dinning reservations to increase the chances that they pick EPOCT or HS over MK or AK. Thus your total park capasity is better utilized. Or if you are coming with 2 girls, and linking to your Movie rewards program, they know you bought Frozen, and Frozen sing along, then yhey could use the app/MB to get you to HS for Frozen stuff there and to EP for the meet and greet.
  19. MB worked just fine to unlock the laundry areas at AoA. I think the restrooms and vehicle entrance are a FW debacle.
  20. There are a few things i see going on with MB/FP+. Your reservations made 6m before you go to the park, would help WDW spread the crowds out thru all the parks and keep you with your reservation/park even with bad weather/ect. With disney gathering crowd/person movements, it would let them adjust the parks to work better. Better flow at bottle necks, or maybe just place a CM/ souvenir stand before the bottel neck to slow the crowds down before the bottel neck and to get more $ out of your pocket.
  21. yea, they would but he also did not like them that much because they were not chicken nuggets. So, he would wait until he was starving and cranky before he would eat them. Same with the pizza, it was not like Ledo's pizza back home. He now has added peanut butter to his list of foods that he eats. In all he was cranky and stuborn for most of the trip. But we also figured out that he was acting out to get attention from grandma and grandpa and away from his cousin (which lives with grandma and grandpa). So, once we seporated at disney world, he vastly improved. It was like he was a differen
