  10. Couldnt agree more. We are on our second WDW life...kind of fell out of going after the kids were gone, but an adoption and then grandkids opened the fun all over again. We try to make one trip each year, and take our youngest daughter (soon to be 16) and one of the grandkids each time. They rotate turns going with us, and with new ones coming we have stair-steps of first timers to enjoy introducing to WDW. Our trip in Jan will be the first time for our oldest grandson who is 7. I really got/get a kick out of watching the grandkids going wide-eyed. Makes it all kind of new again for me e
  11. Barbara, so sorry to hear of the difficulties, but thank God you got it in time. We will keep you and your family on our prayer list, and hope to see you at the Fort!
  12. If the price is close, this is a good way to try out the RV/camping life. You might like it. We have had tents and camper trailers for a long time, and can't imagine not being able to take off for a week or a weekend...but it is not something everyone enjoys. This looks like a good way to check it out and see if it is right for you.

  14. At the risk of shamelessly promoting the area where we live, if you do come up I-75, the Kentucky Horse Park just north of Lexington is a great place to visit. Very nice campground on site, and if it is full (it fills up pretty fast sometime) then Whispering Hills in Georgetown is nearby and very nice too. The Horse Park is a large facility with lots to do and see, all horse related as you would expect by the name and it being in the heart of the bluegrass horse country. There are a lot of horse (read race horse) farms in the Lex. area that are neat to visit, and Keeneland race track is o
