  1. Yeah...when I called a couple of weeks ago, even the KOA was booked up! Thanks :)
  2. Hi Fiends, Has anyone stayed here? We're planning a trip for the 4th and am curious if anyone has "the scoop" :)
  3. Probably more custom. Found a gal on Etsy that does cute iron-on transfers... may try that and p/u shirts at Hobby Lobby or Walmart. I've ordered embroidered ones before, which were super cute...but not cheap. Thanks...I've used HL shirts before too :) On the tutorial...that sounds familiar; I'll look for it. Thanks!
  4. On our next trip to the Fort, I plan to do the matchy-matchy, cutsie, Disney shirts :) Pretty sure I can make the tie-dye ones (or so I've been told they're easy to do)...but if any of you fiends have recommendations, on a cute (and AFFORDABLE) place to order shirts...please let me know. Thank you!! :)
  5. Camping World just sent out their "lastest" sale ad, with this listed (note free item incl): http://www.campingworld.com/shopping/item/portable-surge-guards-with-lcd-display-30-amp/58464
  6. Love that show. We're always amazed by some of the stuff that is out there! Crazy, if money was no object, what you can buy...
  7. Wow....I had no idea. Showed my husband this and he just sighed with a "boy, another thing we have to buy". We'll get one though... that and a larger fire extinguisher!
  8. Us to... also easier with little ones (or should I say, the stroller :) ).
  9. Looking forward to our family reunion at the Fort!

  10. Can you have too much tire pressure? We had new tires installed before our last trip to the Fort in May (we live in Atlanta so about 1000 miles round trip). After the Fort, we took a trip to Chattanooga, TN (another 220 miles added). Our tires are rated for 50 psi, but each time we've checked them (including first thing this morning) they are well over 50. Is this okay?
  11. Wow... a lot more room than I pictured it having inside. Congrats and enjoy! Very nice pics :)
  12. :welcome: I agree with Mo. If you can swing it, book a Premium loop; with your size rig... I think you'll be happy that you did. Have fun!
  13. I agree. I was surprised that they didn't pay to store their rv, rather than sell it (she said they sold it, because the HOA would not let them park it in their driveway). I got the impression that impulse buys might be "the way they roll"
  14. Sorry, I don't have anything to add about the area... but wanted to let you know that we're here for support and prayers if you need us.
  15. Update: So...we purchased a basic cheap gas grill at Walmart ($24) and figured it would do the job, even though it very thin and flimsy and the grate made us very nervous as it was flaking paint the moment we took it out of the box (we decided to just put some foil over it). Then, I decided to try craigslist one more time for a Weber Q and found a lady (who ended up living just 5 minutes down the road from us) selling a brand new Weber Q 100 and stand. She wanted $200 for both, but that was way over our budget... so I offered (our max) of $100 for the grill and she accepted that plus she g
  16. Thanks for the feedback on the camco product! I think we'll pick up a couple of these :)
