I think one reason some people talk about the good ole days in such positive light, is because they only remember the good stuff and forget the bad stuff that went with it. I remember playing with jarts as a kid, they were lots of fun. We were supervised and taught to watch the jart at all times. I grew up on a small farm so there was plenty of room to play. I totally understand why they were banned. I owned a set, but I got rid of them so my son , niece and nephew would not get hurt. Accidents happen. Wasn't worth it to keep them. The above story is very sad.
