Today I completed the Tallahassee Marathon - a PR, 1st in the Wheelchair Division and 1st in my age group!I'm detecting a trend, here. Roller ... aka Ed 351 Posted February 3, 2014 Author Report Share Posted February 3, 2014 I blame the VA (and Dave) - 'running' is FUN again. Now I have gone crazy Dopey registering for more runs. The 15th I have the 12K Flash in St. Marks, FL - and drive down the same day for packet pickup in Gainesville. The 16th is the 5 Points of Life Marathon in Gainesville. Take a short break, and I have the Albany Marathon in Albany, GA on the 1st of March (with 5 days of camping at Georgia Veterans Memorial State Park. From there, OldeKoot and I will camp some more before we have to be at DeSoto for the GG. Since I'm in the area, I have the Bacon Chase 5K at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on 22 March. Then it gets crazy - I have to return the handcycle the first week of April ... and there just happens to be the Great Bay 1/2 Marathon in Newmarket, NH on the 6th of April ... and the people from ME Passage said they would be there to cheer me on and to pick up the handcycle if I wanted to compete. They are making it tough on me! The Bacon Chase? http://baconchase.com/ You know you have to do it! FREE Bacon! They even have a 0.05K (164 feet) run/walk/crawl. We visited WDW on 2/2, and she was in Gainesville on the morning of 2/3. Great photos though. I still want to know what the heck you have on your helmet. I see a light. What else is on there? I am seriously thinking of driving up to New England to return my leased handcycle. There is a race in the right time frame and the right area. http://www.easternstates20mile.com/ OldeKoot would be with me. We would drive up; I would run; then we would take the scenic route back. Stop and see some of the sites OldeKoot would really enjoy - the New England Aquarium in Boston; The National Zoo in D.C.; eventually the Atlanta Zoo.
