I read this yesterday on a DVC site, hadn't seen it here so I thought I would post the link.

And we thought the freaks came out for a regular SWW, can you imagine what this will be like?  (And yet, I would love to be there!).

Mark will not be signing autographs or making personal appearances. He will host the weekend events, be part of the calvalcade, and have information seminars only.

You just ruined my day, not because I wanted to meet him, but because I wanted to see them people in line to do so.

Oh no, it's not ruined, there is still a lot of nut cases to see.

You've still got the geeks and nerds that walk around, or march, in the plastic Stormtrooper costumes. Hey make-believe Stormtroopers, those costumes can't stop a flashlight beam, never mind a laser beam. I group them in with re-enactors, and that, I'll never understand

I will go only because it's free, but only for the circus atmosphere, I don't get the fanaticism.

From the first time I saw the first movie, I have been a Star Wars fan. I even have a section in my office with bunch of Star Wars stuff, but these weekends are a little much. I wonder what I'll buy this year.

I realize that Star Wars is just a bunch of movies, it's fantasy, it's great entertainment.

Z would LOVE that parade though. Someday we have to go.
