CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
Excuse me? Good apples are about $2 a pound around here. Cherries are around $6. Pecans are about $12. That makes apples cheap. In order of deliciousness... 1. Pecan2. Cherry3. Apple 9. Key Lime 27. Coconut Cream In my order of deliciousness: 1. Pecan2. Cherry3. Key Lime 93. Apple 1,074. Mtnmanky...aka Leon 72
Cherry---not a chancePecan---depends on who makes it Apple---the pie all others are judged against and compared to!
Lou... 3,118
In my order of deliciousness:1. PecanJust the filling if it doesn't contain sugar and isn't apple. The pecan (/pɪˈkɑːn/, /pɪˈkæn/, /ˈpiːkæn/, or /ˈpiːkɑːn/; Carya illinoinensis) Is a tasteless nut some times used in pie. Some people from NC seem to think it tastes good, but what do they know, they live in NC. Que the banjo music.
CCIntrigue...aka Gwen 547
From Merrian-Webster: "Pecan nut meat, rich and distinctive in flavour and texture, has one of the highest fat contents of any vegetable product and a caloric value close to that of butter." Lou, have you ever had real pecans?

kadancer 82
No vacation is perfect for everyone and I know Disney seems expensive, but I know people who pay more for their week at our state's ocean destination then what I've paid for most of my Disney Resort Hotels. On top of that the bottle of water that Disney charges $2.50 for is $5.00 at our major league ballpark. I'll take Disney anyday. Oh, and as horrible as this seems...I don't eat pie. red...Susan 37
I agree with Kadancer. I don't like pie either. The crust is the worst part. Maryland seaside vacations are crazy. I met a family of four that paid over $1000 for one weekend. If you are careful you can spend a lot more time in Disney for that.
