As for your last question, the way things currently sit, no they couldn't run a boat from the hotel out to Bay Lake. But, if they remove or raise the golf cart bridge and do something with the dam behind the 300 loop, they could. That would be a long boat ride. But, maybe not longer than the ride from Port Orleans to Downtown Disney. I say they won't have a boat running down the canal. But, who knows?

I will let Twin #1 know that you approve. She could have probably doubled that, but she was the only one in Trail's End at the time, and the castmember was giving her the hairy eyeball.

Then we would be calling you BS?

I'm not sure that's a good idea.

How about BMB- for BassMaster Ben?

Or BMW- for BassMaster West (since there is already a BMS and you live West of the Fort) (plus BMW has a certain panache to it).

Or, just leave it as BM.

Josie always says hello to the twins and I and acts like she recognizes us. I'm not sure if she really does, but she is pretty convincing.

That woman can talk non-stop, but I really do enjoy listening to her.

She has seen it all. Literally. She is a treasure. We had a long chat this time about her views on people complaining that the Fort is not the same as it used to be. According to Josie, it's not the Fort that's changed, it's the people. In her special way, she made a very convincing argument to support her opinion.

I already said it, but I'll say it again to anyone reading along, if you have a chance to chat with Josie, you should. You will be glad that you did.

Yes, the girls first spotted these about a year ago.

I think they started out in Japan, but have finally made their way over to WDW.

They are much better quality than the thin clear ones that they have been selling lately.

You are asking about Wilderness Lodge, right? It's just called Wilderness Lodge. Not Fort Wilderness Lodge. Us Fiends have to get that right.

That trail begins right across from the current location of the horse barns, in the Settlement area of the Fort.

The trail head is directly across from the old River Country bus stop.

The main trail is paved all the way to the Lodge. The nature part of it is packed sand, but it was easy to ride a bike on.

It's a very nice walk or ride, and October would be a great time to try it out. It's about a mile from the Fort to the Lodge.

I know my opinion doesn't matter on any of it, I will have to make the decision of whether or not to keep spending my money there, in the years to come, but geez, why keep messing with a good thing?!

While on our wacky ride through space, Yoda popped up and acknowledged Twin #2. I thought I ought to get a photo, but I forgot about the whole 3-D thing, so now when I look at the photo, I'm not sure if this was really Yoda. It kind of looks more like Stef to me:

My mom is Twin #2. Twin #1 is upfront, in your face, and straight forward. My mom is not but they do act the same at times but mostly behaviors that all the siblings have.

Caught up! Phew!

Once again, I am seeing some of the same stuff I took photos of on those days. Funny how we all notice the same things! My oldest son noticed the lit up cranes one night, too. He's 12, and noticed them - so just imagine how noticeable a gigantic, lit-up resort will be.

But, I'm also seeing loads of beautiful pictures of things I wouldn't notice, since I don't get up before the sun or go walking behind loops!

Loved the comment about the height of the light post. And, I agree that it should remain like it is now. I like it!

As for the BassMaster's abbreviation, my vote is for BS, because it makes me giggle. BM doesn't make me giggle. It reminds me of my diaper-changing days.

Or, we could just make it BFD, since (thanks to me), the whole BM thing has become kind of a BFD? :laugh:

This was a huge joke in the 3rd grade.

As many of you know, I grew up in New Joisey.

Every year in school we got to go on a couple of field trips. One was always to the New Jersey State museum. In Trenton.

Have you ever been to Trenton?

If you haven't be glad.

So, in the museum, they had a display about Indians. The feather kind not the dot kind. And if you are a Native American or an Indian Indian from India I apologize for that comment, but that is what we used to say in the third grade. They also had some alleged moon rocks. But I had my suspicions about those.

The highlight of the museum, without a doubt, was the planetarium. That was cool.

I will never forget when Mrs. Gleason told us that we were going. And Brian Moore, without missing a beat, asked if we would be able to see all the planets. Mrs. Gleason said yes. Then Brian said, will we even be able to see Uranus? And Mrs. Gleason said of course! That brought down the house. And if I'm not mistaken Mrs. Gleason picked Brian up by one of his ears and escorted him to the office.

I just laughed out loud thinking of that!

I wonder what ever happened to old Brian Moore?

In an effort to move this report in a different direction, and hopefully back on track, I wanted to respond in more detail to the question Genia asked a while back.

About whether the Four Seasons would be ferrying guests via boat to the MK.

I don't think so.

The length of the trip from Port Orleans Riverside to Downtown Disney by boat is about 1.67 miles:

But, the length of a boat ride from the Four Seasons to the MK would be 2.71 miles:

Plus, there are the bridge and dam which are currently in the way. And the Four Seaons only bought the land they are building on. I can't see Disney letting them use the canal or lake or the MK dock.

So, I am going to guess no.
