  4. I wonder if they'll have a scooter parade again? The last one was great. Scooters all decorated and stuff. The onlookers weren't too happy though. Instead of just a few people getting annoyed, everyone watching did.

  7. That is correct regarding it being closed on the 9th, but the changes are being done after the park closes and the attraction will remain open while those changes are being made.

  8. My first trip was in 1977 and I was 1 1/2 years old. My second trip was in 1979 and I still have my certificate from my day at the Mouseketeer Clubhouse; which I believe was at the Contemporary Resort. We went to the Fort about every two years or so...my dad tells stories about the FWRR....and we have "slides" of it. I like to think I remember the FWRR, but realisticly I probably remember the "slide" show. I believe the FWRR was a seasonal operation at that time and was not running 365/7 as it was when it began.   9. That walk to Fantasia Gardens is ridiculous just for some rinky dinky mini golf. If you must, I would go with Stef's suggestion, not that it's better mini golf, but at least you can take a bus from DHS and then a bus back to the Fort from there.

  10. Perspective is fine, but what you really need is beer. Plus...just remember, one of life's great pleasures is sitting under an awning or on the Trails End porch drinking a cup of coffee and watching the rain come down. Like you said...go with the flow.

  12. I understand, I really do. You have spoent so much time and effort planning this trip - not to mention $$. It's hard not to stress over the weather. My advice would be to pray. Don't pray for good weather. Pray to be grateful for the chance to go no matter what the weather. Pray for good attitudes for everyone going. Pray for good memories, even if they are the ones that take a few months before you can laugh about them. Pray whenever you are tempted to check the weather, knowing that checking it won't change it.
