The Canadian side has adventure passes which imo are far superior to anything on the U.S. side http://www.niagaraparks.com/niagara-falls-deals/?utm_expid=7544428-9.XdFePxAVQn-bDs7GRUuNjg.0&utm_referrer=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.niagaraparks.com%2F I have not camped on the Canadian side yet because I don't want to deal with taking animals across the border.

Or look me up in Gettysburg and I can take you to a better looking, less touristy battlefield down at Sharpsburg/Antietam. -

Directions and nearby essentials?

I got gas at the Murphy before shopping. It was daylight at that point. I need to see if I can still locate the gas receipt. That should have the address. -

I need to figure out which Wal-mart we stumbled onto to shop. I think it was in Kissimmee and it had a Murphy's gas station. That place was very sketchy after dark. Nobody in the store spoke English or pretended they didn't. Got accosted by 3 people claiming to be taxi drivers and would take us where ever we wanted to go. The one even took the cart from me and started to jog away with it. I ran after him and pushed him off. Also we took notice to the two marked security cars patrolling the lot. Then as we were loading up my truck .....wait for it.........we heard a gun shot. -

Had the same problems with the 2011 GMC Sierra and even had blow outs. Whoever optioned the truck is an idiot, they put the heavy duty towing suspension on it, but blew that all to hell by putting 20" ghetto rims on it which reduced the payload by a couple of hundred pounds. My costly solution was buying a 2015 2500 HD. -
Premium is out of the OP's price range, unless my reading comprehension is screwed.

Availability Issues with Cable Modems?
bhall replied to bhall's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
We are planning for a return trip in the fall of 2016. I still hope this is an option at that time, unless I'm no longer employed at the bank then I probably won't have to worry about it. -
Yes sir. Was with Allstate for 18 years. No speeding tickets but 1 accident 8 years prior (Brake pedal went to the floor and I used a brand new F-250 as a brake pedal). I went shopping with every company and settled on Erie. Moved Both vehicles/drivers, Fifth Wheel and Renters Insurance to them and paying $1500/yr. The Erie agent felt the increase came about because when they do quotes, they do by address. With that being said, my parents "own" our house, but we are paying the mortgage as they have an insanely cheap interest rate on it. They were using the house address as theirs whil

How do yall deal with noisey neighbors?
bhall replied to busterthebronco's topic in General Camping Discussion and Questions
My lawyer has advised me to not disclose my methods. -
Sorry. Same thing is happening around here to with Tourist/Camping season kicking in. I saw one today on U.S. 15 with a blowout that caused a lot of damage to the trailer.
-
That would be the only way I could do it. Despite the outward appearance of my stomach, I simply cannot pour that much liquid into it.
-
I haven't taken any of the work trailers to the scales but 3 of my blowouts were while empty. All of the trailers are running 205/75/15ST LRC @ 50 psi Cold. I always put to Max cold pressure before going. It makes no sense to upgrade the tire to LRD though because D tires call for 65 psi Cold and all of the wheels are rated for 55 psi Cold. Wouldn't be able to run max cold psi for the tires. I now drive under 65 with the work trailers and listen to everyone complain but we haven't had a blowout since. Today, someone else was driving to a site empty and blew a tire out. He was going 70 w

It has a lot more room but is only displaying a fraction of artifacts that the old museum had. It is also geared towards not only the 1st time Gettysburg visitor but the novice civil war tourist.
-
Well, I can't honestly opine on the new VC as I haven't stepped foot in there since it was built. That has to do with a personal protest as to how it came about and other aspects from the old museum to this new one. Local politics if you will. I may have to soften my stance up though. My Dad is now working there and has said he wants to show me stuff in there. The new visitors center is about 2-3 miles from me as the crow flies. My step-mom is high up at the ski-resort pictured. That is definitely Raven Rock near it. Black helicopters were a consistent sight over the area in the last

I know it's an old thread, but it's interesting to see and read about the sights I see every day from someone else's perspective.
