I wish I lived closer to 95!  It would be great to have a place where Fiends could overnight on their way north and south.

How can they continue to charge full admission price to this park. It absolutely crazy. Who in their right mind would pay near $100 each per day to ride 3 attractions and see 2 or 3 shows? I know HS will be totally my favorite park once Star Wars land is opens, but I don't expect to see that for many years. Can anyone say "Avatar land". That movie was so long ago I almost had to ask myself what it was about. Do they think fluffer stuff like Star Wars launch bay is going to keep people coming in? Probably since ther was a 40 minute wait to see a guy dresse in a Chewbacca outfit. I was not impressed with this gray paint job and so called movie props to call this an added attraction. Just plain stupid. If They did things right, they should have built a sub park to HS for Star Wars and toy story like universal did its island of adventure. Is it just me, or is half of the park gong to be ripped up? I don't get it

David was very uneasy about me and Chris driving down together for WWW.  If I tried to do it alone, I think he'd chain me to the house.

He just doesn't understand what Chris and I are capable of together!

Four of us are using DH's pass to get in Epcot and then one of the friends is a friend to the man directing the  music at American Adventure that night.  He is getting us seats down front for the show!!  Sometimes it pays to be fdf   ( stealing a line from youknowwho )

I have a neighbor who is 95 years old and mostly lives alone.  Her daughter gets her to go to her home for a day or two but my neighbor always wants to go home in a couple of days.
The daughter measures out Mom's pills weekly, she use to use the pill containers but Mom would get confused and take too many or not enough.  Now daughter uses a dog feeding dish that has 7 compartments, it is battery operated and opens one compartment daily.  This has worked out very well.  The compartment is also bigger than the pill containers and makes it easier for Mom to get the pills out.

BUT don't tell the mom that it was for feeding the doggies.

Just an FYI, Disney photo pass shoots the marching bands that visit. We have 2 photographers assigned to just marching bands. The band director will get the photo pass card or you can stop by the town square theater and they can look up the photos for you to add to your own account.

I was thinking about this article tonight. When I came back from EPCOT I couldn't get into my room, when I tried scanning my magic band nothing happened. No lights at all came on the reader, so I had to walk allllllll (our room is pretty far) the way up front with Elizabeth and get them to figure it out. It took them a while as they tried doing stuff to my magic band and then decided because no lights came on it might be an issue with the MB reader. So they had someone meet me at the room to use a manual key to let me in. It turns out the batteries in the reader were dead and maintenance would need to come out, they finally showed at 10:47. And guess what? During this whole time I never once thought, man I could make a meth lab quicker! The whole thing was annoying but the good thing is we got 2 anytime FP to use today at MK, so we may finally meet Anna and Elsa!

The only way I can afford to go to WDW is to be a cast member or the spouse of one (retired tho he is now).
I'm too frugal aka cheap to spend that kind of money.

I feel the same way. It used to be with a pass, at least for us locals, you, could just go to the parks, wander around and go on whatever rides didn't have a long line. Sooner or later you would get on everything. But now everything is booked up by people 6 months out. Last time we went camping and had passes, everything felt rushed and not nearly as enjoyable as just hanging out at the Fort.

I originally had this in my plans when we were going to be there for Halloween.
I am sad that I will never get to experience this, but then I am reminded what today is and suddenly I gain perspective. Many lost the chance to plan to go see this 14 years ago.

Now that's my kind of logic!

The spontaneity and fun has been sucked out of the entire Disney experience as far as I'm concerned.

You used to be able to just go to the parks and wing it, and 99% of the time you still got to do everything, and you got to go to the restaurants you wanted to.

Now everyone is scurrying back and forth from one end of the park to the other staring at their phones trying to figure out where the next FP is, or trying to alter it.

    Bring back the ticket books!!!

They have already made a change that I have seen where any Fastpasses booked through a specific reservation are cancelled when the reservation is.
I had a couple of cancellations the other day and received that message as I was preparing to cancel them.

IMHO. Get rid of it all.
    No more ADRs
No more being able to cancel last minute.
    No more FP+

I am guessing that the toys from Toy Story and the stuffed animals from Winnie the Pooh are things you would find in a child's room, which is why they are together. You also might find a child's book, so maybe that is why they are joined that way.
Or I just have way too much spare time and thought about it too long.

I was just thinking the same thing....once it rolls over something sticky, or gets some dirt built up on it, that head will pop right off.  Hope it's just decorative.

And is there a camera on it so you can see to steer, or is it line of sight?

This was the robot we had when I was a kid...

Mr. Machine is a once popular children's mechanical toy originally manufactured by the Ideal Toy Company in 1960. Mr. Machine was a robot-like mechanical man wearing a top hat. The body had a giant windup key at the back. When the toy was wound up it would "walk", swinging its arms and repeatedly ringing a bell mounted on its front; and after every few steps emit a mechanical "Ah!", as if it were speaking. The toy stood about 18 inches tall (roughly 46 cm).
The gimmick of Mr. Machine was that one could not only see all of his mechanical "innards" through his clear plastic body, but one could also take the toy apart and put it back together, over and over, like a Lego toy or a jigsaw puzzle.
Mr. Machine was one of Ideal's most popular toys. The company reissued it in 1978, but with some alterations: it could no longer be taken apart (owing to the tendency of very young children to put small pieces in their mouths which could be accidentally swallowed or present a choking hazard), and instead of ringing a bell and making the "Ah" sound, it now whistled "This Old Man". This later version of Mr. Machine was brought back once more in the 1980s. In 2004, the Poof-Slinky Company remanufactured the original 1960 version (using the actual Ideal molds whenever possible), which made the original sounds and could be disassembled, and with the intention of being marketed to nostalgic adults as a collectible.
