I like the idea of hanging the sign. What about taking three pieces of cedar (branches). Put two in the ground and the third across the top of the other two and hanging your sign from the third branch.

I was 8 yrs 9 months old living in California. It was an unseasonably cool day, It looked like it was going to rain any minute.
I had my favorite pair of Levi 501s on a multi colored shirt with a big butterfly collar. I was watching the Electric Company with my brother on the couch with clear plastic cover on it.
    When I heard the news.
Ok I don't remember an only the first sentence is true. Lol

We did it on our last trip. Mo you are mostly right. The first adult can go thru with as many people as they want. As long as they have FP+ or are willing to wait inline. Say Brian took Adam on Soar-in using their FP+ and your parents and several other people in your group had FPs goes first. Then the CM gives y'all a rider swap pass. When Brian, and the others get off the ride he watches Elizabeth. Then you and three others can immediately go thru the FP return line to ride the ride.
    Does that make sense?

Yes DIT rented a house near Disney.
IIRC he used the same website I've used a few times. It's Vacation Rentals by Owner. VRBO.com. They are 100's of houses for rent on there. If Dave doesn't chime in soon send him a PM.
I don't know how many rooms you'll need but we own a timeshare at Bonnet Creek You can rent a 2 or 3 bedroom. The place is really nice and a 2-3 minute car ride to Epcot. You can watch the Epcot fireworks from your balcony. And no you don't have to do a timeshare sales meeting. . .

What id like to do is keep the bottom bunk as a bed for DD and make the tip bunk into a bar. Now only if I knew anyone that did that to there bunk beds and I could see a picture of it?

But rain in that area is a sure thing. Ive never been there and it didn't rain. It's strange, everytime I get close to that giant Coca-Cola bottle I get rained on. So I hit the Backlot Bar to dry off.

This rumor was gloating around last year also.
When I told DW about it she said "we should go this Christmas if it's going to be the last year they have it". So we went.
Now she's saying we can't go this Christmas since we are going to either Australia or Hawaii next summer.
So maybe if we perpetuate this rumor we can go to Disney this Christmas. Who's with me?

    No way?
I know something the great TCD and The Lou doesn't?
It's at the end of the Streets of America where the entrance to Lights, Motor, Action is, Herbie Is, and the entrance to the Backlot area is.
The only reason I know this is a few Christmases ago I was looking for the black cat and I couldn't find it so I asked a CMwere it is. He said walk down to the Tri City Courtyard and look to the left and it's up in a tree. I had to ask were the court yard is and he told me. When I get a chance I'll try to find an official answer from disneys website. I'll get back to you.

Well I guess its time to start my TR. We had quite a summer and several trips.
We started the summer off with a two week trip to Disney. One week at Wyndham Bonnet Creek, and one week at AKL.
Where we met up and visited with several fellow Fiends, and yes I have pix to prove it.
We then had to go to the lake and entertain family and friends for a week.
And then a few weeks after that we flew to England. Took the train to Paris, Munich Germany, and then finally to Mannheim Germany. The place were I was born and spent the first seven years of my life. And I still have family living there.
Now I'm not a person that takes notes but I do take a lot of pictures so there will be a lot of pictures that I hope you'll enjoy.
This won't be a minute by minute TR. It's more of what I remember TR.
But if you know me there will be Pood Forn, cute pix of my DD, and pix of some interesting places and things.
    So let's get started.
We flew from Oklahoma City and it was a pretty uneventful flight but it started with a nice surprise for my DD and nephew.
DD and our nephew got a tour of the cockpit. They thought it was really cool.

We made it to Orlando and waited to ride our first ride.

    The airport monorail.
    DW, DD, and Nephew

We flew out the night before our rezzie at Wyndham, and stayed at the Embassy Suites Orlando Airport. We let the kids swim while we enjoyed the managers reception. Here's a few pix from the hotel.

The next morning I picked up our rental car and got a free upgrade to the 4runner.

We loaded up and headed out. And in no time at all we saw the sign that always makes me Happy! Happy! Happy!

For the first week of our trip we stayed at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek. It's not a Disney property but it is as close to being on property as you can be. It's across the street from the Caribbean Beach Club and you can see the fireworks at Epcot from your balcony. The resort has 5 pools, two lazy rivers, 5 restaraunts and a whole lot more including a pirate ship. Aargh!
Here's a few pictures of the resort and some of our condo.

    DW's cousin and her son

Don't know who the guys are but that's DD getting ready to go down the pirate ship water slide.

    Another pools water slide.

DD on one of the lazy rivers.

The kids loved all the pools.

    The ducks kept coming inside.

    One of the kids area.

Pix of the main building, with its kid pool area, swimming pool, and lazy river.

    Three of the six buildings.

Night shot. Sorry it's a little blurry. The fountain lights are beautiful. It changes colors.

They showed nightly movies on a grassy area by building one.

We had a two bed two bath condo.

I loved sitting out on our balcony.

Getting close to photo limit so good bye for now.
Next we enjoy DTD and some parks with our nephew. It was his first trip. I love bringing kids to Disney for their first trip.

First of all I find it quite humorous that you think your the head of the family. We all know its INC who's in charge.
Second. As the head, lol, of a family of 4 there is no way I'm winging it either. Hangry women scare me!!!

FOTLK show is the same as before. DW and I didn't notice any changes to the show. They may have freshened up the costumes but that's about it.
FP+ did allows us in earlier than the rest of the crowd and we were able to get great seats. So for us it wasn't a Wasted FP+ Because nephew(4) loved it and I like sitting in the first rows.

I don't remember who asked about new food items at disneyworld for kids with allergies (I think Marty), but I was keeping an eye out for foods kids with allergies could eat and I found this...

It's located on discovery Island around the path from Flame Tree BBQ. If you exit It's tough bring a big and walk towards Flame Tree you can't miss it.

After taking those pictures I stopped at Flame Tree to get a bottle water and asked the CM if they had any allergy safe foods and she told me to go back to that stand and that pretty soon you can go there and they will be able to tell you what restaurants offer allergy safe foods. I wish I would have written down what all she said because there's a lot more to it than that. She also said that soon you will be able to go to that booth, look up and order what you want and than go get it. Sorry I don't have more details but maybe a CM or someone can Moogle it and find more accurate info. I'll try to get more info when we go back to AK in a few days.
