For the first time ever, Disney Photopass is taking all of the photos for RunDisney events. In the past a third party company handled the race photos while Photopass handled the photos with characters. Starting with the Darkside this month Photopass will taking all of the photos. This is great news as now your race photos are available on your my Disney experience account. And if you have memory maker or an annual pass you get the race photos as part of that. You can also purchase a one day memory maker for the day of your event or purchase individual prints.

i stayed at the fort for a year and a half. The only reason for leaving is the cost. But we set out guidelines too. We had lives to live that did not involve Disney. We paid bills, ran errands, worked, etc. but we were able to enjoy everything the fort had to offer when we wanted. The hardest part was everyone around us was there to vacation and we had to separate ourselves from that. We couldn't rush off to the beach for fireworks every night because we had to work early the next morning. Or we had to plan ahead of time when there was a golf cart parade to be sure we didn't get caught by it. But it was a great experience.

The cost is $59 for one day and you can download all the photos from that day.

Currently, if you go to meet Aladdin and jasmine at the Magic kingdom, you may get a surprise visit from the genie. If your friends and family are a part of your account, meaning they are listed under your account and you manage the account, you can download the photos as they are actually a part of your account. If they have their own log in and thier own account, you cannot download thier photos.

Prints will be at a discounted rate. About $1 a print. As of right now, the discount is only available online. But in the near future it will available in our view centers as well.

Your annual pass operates a bit differently than traditional memory maker.
You get all of your photos for the entire life of your annual pass starting the day your annual pass was activated. Your photos stay in your account for the entire time as well where traditional photopass photos expire after 45 days. Your photos will not have watermarks on them as you own them from the time they are taken.
Now, for the bad news.
Only the photos in the annual pass holders account are part of the photo entitlement. Meaning, the photos must be in your account to be downloadable. So you cannot share your account with friends and family and download thier photos as part of your account. So if you have 2 annual passes with the photo entitlement, you will have to download the photos from each account separately. You cannot download friends and family photos. Just yours.

You are correct. I went to the preview today. We were instructed from the start no photos on the safari. And they reminded us at every turn.
That card was actually a box of mints that was given to us. We were treated to some of the food that will be served there and some of the punch. They also had signs posted highlighting the other menu items that will be served there.
It looks amazing inside and they weren't even completely done yet. It's going to be a great dining experience.

The new Star Wars launch bay opened at DHS today and with it, the new visa meet and greet with lord Vader. These photos are part of the free downloads for visa meet and greets.

A few photopass updates.
The Disney Visa Meet and Greet process has changed. You no longer get a free 5x7 print with the exclusive meet and greet. Now Visa card holders get free digital downloads of all of the photos from their experience. No need to visit the view stations. Just download them from the website.
As of today the one day memory maker is only available for purchase with a hard ticket to the MVMCP. After the last party, 1 day memory maker will be discontinued to make way for future product enhancements.

Not sure. I don't follow Japan's trending burger news.

It's in soft open now. But it's not guaranteed you'll get the new scenes. After dec 1st the new scenes will be a part of every ride for the entire month at which point they become random. I was "lucky" enough to ride it 4 times with the new scenes. The only problem I have with it is now you jump from the very end of the saga to the very beginning. It doesn't flow very well.

Give me the date and time they marched and I'll look into the photos for you.

Just an FYI, Disney photo pass shoots the marching bands that visit. We have 2 photographers assigned to just marching bands. The band director will get the photo pass card or you can stop by the town square theater and they can look up the photos for you to add to your own account.
