I'm still laughing about the dried grapes on the vine. I'm pretty sure I could find some in my car from the last time we had a picnic.

After a failed attempt in January I finally made it to Casey's for their "first pitch". There was some fantastic singing, and free Cracker Jack, but they didn't actually throw a ball. I'm not sure whether they just didn't do it because there was nobody around, or whether they don't do it at all anymore.

Gotta say I'm anti modern and if anything needs to be gutted it's the contemptorary (don't stone me!). 
 
I get that they have nothing to even remotely compare to The Four Seasons but gutting the grand doesn't seem like the right way to solve that. 

But they are fat free haha!!

You turned me into a junkie. I bought gift cards to a chain over 2 hours away and have to stop whenever I am driving through the state now. 

We stayed in fort wilderness 2 weeks ago and tried the food truck by the campfire area for the first time. My wife and I both had the 'Fort Wilderness Smoked Pork belly Tillamook Cheeseburger'. Which is basically a bacon cheeseburger with chipotle BBQ sauce on it. We both feel that it was the best burger we have had on Disney property!! It's a fresh burger that was never frozen and it not the same type of burger you get at most quick service restaurants.

Our son loved "A Camping Spree with Mr. Magee", which we got a year or two ago after reading this post, thanks Beckers!
We did have to let him know that our camper won't roll away though

I think everyone is missing the big chance here for Disney to up the thrill experience, I see the future in the addition of the Official Disney Bungee experience and Dessert party

You guys are looking at this all wrong... Just pack your nice clothes (suits, wedding gown, dresses, etc.) in a few coolers and drive to the Fort.  Tell the guard at the shack some tale that will get you to the overflow lot.  Board the bus with all of your stuff and pretend you are going to the pool for the day... Get off at the Settlement, have your wedding and call it day.

This is precisely why gondolas are a horrible idea.  Many years ago my family and I were riding this very gondola and a giant ape attacked us.  I seem to remember it being located in central Florida, however.

My parents are in Disney this week and are celebrating their 50th anniversary. Today they got to see Cinderella's carriage. I'm only slightly jealous ha!

Wow. Some people are strange!!!

Here's a review from tonight. I like following his page, he works for Southwest and goes to a lot of the parks. He's not a blogger really, so I'm pretty sure it's all on his dime. His FB is public so you can see it without being his friend.

This is all fine, but since Disney has now set a precedent by removing trees to improve the Tiana riverboat parade viewing, can they cut down all the trees on Discovery Island so I can see the fireworks better from the Fort?

I just hope they dont rely on the projections to tell the story. For me Wishes was awesome as the words, music, and fireworks all worked together to tell the story.
