An update:
 
Disney Princess Half Marathon = sold out
Disney Enchanted 10K = sold out
Glass Slipper Challenge = sold out
Disney Princess 5K = 75% full
runDisneyKids Races = 80% full
That's insane! Same day sell-outs for almost all of the races. I do know (at least for the 10k and above), you can often get spots by working through a charity. My wife had the idea that she wanted to do the 10K last year; we were able to find a brain tumor charity that had spots if you raised $X.
So if it sells out and you want in- there's still a way. :)

I just signed my wife, myself, and daughter up for the 5k again this year. Freezing at 5am to stand around for 2 hours and then schlep through Epcot seemed like such a great idea last year that we're doing it again.

I saw this the other day, but it doesn't sit right with me. If she put sunscreen on the child's back why is that the only spot burned? Also there are a couple of straight edges on that burn which seems strange too. Just doesn't make sense. I think I need to see more cases to be totally convinced.

Let me tell you- I can only imagine looking crazy running after a CM to take her picture. My wife laughed; my kids were confused. :)

Making new friends is always fun. We met another family through Fulltime Families who happen to live in the Orlando area. They came out *to have dinner with us* (annunciates, lest I become a cannibal again :D ).

This. We have a 42' fifth wheel and find that parking can be tricky. Basically, we hope and pray that the sit across from us is unoccupied or they're around and can move vehicles. :D With a pop-up, I doubt there is a spot that you couldn't get into.

NaCole has asked me about TT Orlando pictures. I took a couple when we got here- mostly around my site. It's a huge place, so there's a fair amount of variation. When I get a chance, I'll take some more.

I know you love your daughter, but with all you've had going on in your life, the trials and tribulations of purchasing the new camper, and now struggling with trying to find a truck, you just need to think of you and your husband, and just say NO to any pets.
 
She will get over it.  In a week or two (ok maybe a couple of months) she will be interested in something else.
 
You as the adult know what you will be facing now and in the long run. Training now, cleaning up messes, replacing chewed items, finding a sitter when you go on vacation, worrying about crating and being mean or coming home to a disaster zone, etc.  And if your kids are involved in any extra curricular activities, it's going to be harder to get free time as they get older.
 
Owning a dog and having young kids is not like the good old days of the Lassie TV show where Timmy just hung out after school on the farm and got into mischief (and fell down that stupid well for the 20th time), and ma and pa stayed home all day tending the farm and watching the dog.
 
Don't get me wrong, I miss our dog every day since he's been gone, but our life has been a lot simpler without thinking about who's going to watch the dog and feed the cat, since they've been gone.  Now we just have to get the kids to stop by and water the garden and mow the grass (easier said then done).

My wife did a pedicure at the Ship Shape spa at the Yacht Club. She said it was good, but the woman painting her toes took forever. Because they weren't busy, I was allowed to sit in the chair beside of her and play with the massager.
 

Well....we weren't supposed to get each other anything.  She stuck to her end of the bargain.   :laugh:

I got her a new diamond ring....basically a solitaire engagement ring.  When we got engaged we didn't have two nickles to rub together, so I got her what I could afford at Service Merchandise (if you remember that place).  I always wanted to get her a "nicer" ring, although she loves the actual engagement ring because of what it stands for, but I did want to get her a 2nd ring with a nicer diamond.  So that's what I did.  

I'm feeling festive, so let's keep going. As I mentioned, we decided to hit up the Peter Pan interactive queue (and ride).

But, the rooms were pretty cool. Tinker Bell flew around and interacted with various furniture (none of which is reflected in this picture):

 
I had only heard of the shadow wall with the bells. I didn't know that butterflies also flew around:

 
(And, I won't lie- I'm a little mesmerized as to how they actually pull off this effect. To have a shadow means you'd have a bright light, but look at yourself- there was no bright light.)

We hadn't ridden Pirates the last 2 visits to WDW- either due to lines or it being down during our FP time. So I was excited to hit it this morning:

Yep. The Dole Whip Cup was a big fat miss in my book. Didn't care for it and didn't know what everyone raved about. Next time I'll try the float.

I actually liked the new tiki room that they used to have with the bird from Aladdin. I get very little enjoyment out of this one. But, it's a classic and air conditioned, so we go.
 
WHEW.. gotta break there AND it is still only about 10am. Next up is Splash Mountain where we'll compare and contrast it's level of splashi-ness to PoTC.

It figures "That Guy" would get that.
