You think the Flying Nun thing is bad, have you seen the concept art for the proposed facade improvement project on Pioneer Hall?

This place won't be cheap.  And Disney always wins, in the Year of a Million Schemes.
BTW, I think the word "Cypress" should be in the name....like Disney's Cypress Point Resort, or Disney's Cypress Springs Resort.  You know, to pay homage to the dozens of cypress trees they will need to bulldoze in order to build it.

Wow, August in Georgia without A/C.  You are a brave man.  My wife would have ditched me and walked to a hotel.

$5.75 for a Mickey Bar?  But they are "free" on Disney cruises.  I just checked the Disney Cruise website, and see several cruises prices out at around $250 per person per night.  At an imputed price of $5.75 per Mickey Bar, that would equal 43 Mickey Bars per day of a cruise to break even.  And then you can consider the cruise itself to be a bonus!
Who says Disney Cruises aren't reasonable?

Back in the 60's when Walt was secretly buying up the land for WDW, if someone from the future had told him that someday they'd be serving booze for breakfast in the Magic Kingdom, he'd have replanted the orange trees, put the land back up for sale, and headed back to California.

I think I hurt myself tonight at the potluck.   Too much good food, and even better company.   I could be a bit off on my count, but I think we had 22 attendees this year including kids.  And the weather couldn't be better.

How wonderful!  I imagine Bill will always be happy about these times you are spending with Annie.  The last thing we want after our loved ones are gone is regret that we didn't spend more time with them.  That lesson alone is worth more than any pictures you could have posted in this report.  Thanks for sharing.

Better buy your tickets now. You're going to need the next 12 years to plan your dining.

Oh yeah sure, I eat there at least once a week.
Seriously, this is the most (or maybe these days least) surprising thing about this...
But hey, your $1250pp does get you VIP status, valet parking at Disney’s Grand Californian hotel, a park hopper ticket, and a 7 course meal — with tax, gratuity, wine pairings, and a couple of cocktails. A bargain!!
The real question is, if they offered something like this in Cinderella castle at MK, how many of you would at least spend a couple of minutes thinking about it?

Has anyone dined here?  Know anyone that has?
Dinner costs $15,000 for 12 people.  And I thought Disney Cruises were expensive.  Only one group per night can dine, so I guess exclusivity has a price.  And apparently it's $15k.
