  1. Awesome TR. It was a really fun read. About the big fat mistake, once TCD said that, I figured he would be right. We have had the same type feelings in our family too. But I will say that yesterday, when we went to FW for the Segway tour, Danielle spontaneously said that she really missed staying at FW. So, don't despair - I bet your plan of alternating stays between FW and other resorts like YC will work out perfectly for you. Thanks for the great report!
  2. Z is about the cutest thing I've ever seen. I can't believe how much y'all got done in such a short time! This is the best testament to getting there early I've ever read. Looking forward to more!
  3. Wait - did I miss the big fat mistake? Was it having a meat sammich after too long without meat? Was it getting violated on a bus with 100 of your closest sexual offenders?
  4. Well, heck. Oh well, I'll just make sure to allow for enough time to catch a bus. Shouldn't take too much extra time, hopefully. It's gonna be an early morning but I can't wait. Thanks for the info!
  5. That's exactly what I meant. I know no one other than golf carts can drive all the way to the actual settlement - I just didn't say what I was meaning very well. If the cab will be allowed through to there, that would be great.
  6. Hey y'all! We are heading to WDW tomorrow! :) We have a 7:30 ADR at TE before a Segway tour Wednesday morning and will be taking a taxi to get there since we're staying at OKW. Is there any chance they will let us take the cab all the way to the settlement, or will they make us get out and take a bus? I'm trying to figure out how much time to all for this trip to breakfast. Thanks!
  7. Good update! I'll guess Kouzzina for dinner, only because I love that place. I'm sure I'm wrong - I never win things like this! One thing I love about this installment - you show two pails for the kids meals at SAB and I'm thinking Anna and Stella. But when the next picture loads, who is it that is is enjoying one? Your recent high school grad! :) Love it!
  8. I'm in. Can't wait to find out what all is to come!
  9. Awesome job getting there so early! What a great start to what I'm sure will be a great Fourth of July! And, it sounds like everyone remembered their shoes! :)
  10. Thanks for the info about memory maker. I have ordered it for our trip next week, and got the same info about "picking it up." Am I right that I really don't need to do anything – that it is already on our bands? Looks like an amazing start to your trip!
  11. I'm a little late but I'm in! First, Z has gotten bigger since the last pics I've seen! But he's still such a cutie! Second, we've done the forgotten shoe thing too. It was not too surprizingly Jodi, who left the house heading to the airport barefooted. Figured it out when we were unloading the suitcases at the SW curbside checkin. Good thing she's got big feet like me. Looking forward to reading more!
  12. Kouzzina is my guess. We love breakfast there. I'm so sad that they are closing soon. Love your pics of the S/D and Boardwalk areas at night! I just love that area and it's particularly fun at night. And this picture: is so good that to me it looks like one of those "artist's renderings" that they put out before building something new, where things never look as good as they do in the rendering. So, good job on your pics!
  13. I have no new ideas as to what the big mistake is, but I love your SAB pics and am looking forward to more report. :)
  14. Loved your report! Such cute boys and a cute family! I love that y'all did so many new things that you hadn't done before - that's my favorite part of every trip - finding and doing things that are completely new to us even though they may have been there forever. And, I love the pic of your boys accidentally recreating the BOG mosaic. So cute! Thanks for a great report!
  15. All caught up! Fun TR you have going here. I've never been to Key West, but I'm staying at Old Key West next week. That's got to be about the same, don't you think? I actually loved the atmosphere at OKW last time we stayed there, so I have to think I'd enjoy the real deal. One day I hope to get Ray down there for a long weekend during the winter - escape the yucky cold up here and thaw out. Sorry to hear about the camera. I'm with Kelli and Dave - we've had good luck recently with underwater cameras. I think they are doing a better job making them. If you're going to replace it and i
  16. Ok, I was behind but now I'm caught up. I agree with everyone about CHOGS. I'm definitely pro-moving-their-crap and anti-CHOGS. That pic of Anna. To die for. Those freckles on Stella. And the pictures of all your girls. They are all so beautiful. I'm with TCD on the vegetarian front, though I've learned to live with a vegetarian (Danielle). As long as you're not going all the way to the vegan side, then it's doable. Looking forward to the rest of the report, whatever all it holds.
  17. I'm in and enjoying your report! Can't believe about those flip flops though! The bear proof trashcans at the cabins must be new - I stayed in one just a couple of years ago and have never seen those before. Crazy looking trash can!
  18. We'll be neighbors! We are staying at OKW. Maybe we'll run into y'all! Edited to add - Just made it through the last installment. Love Grandma. Looks like the start of a great trip, even with all that driving and the ill-fated buzzard.
  19. Awesome update yesterday. I loved seeing the bridge for the CM entrance to the MK. I've wondered about that before. Good mine train selfie. Good other stuff too, but mainly - awesome job on the FP+ cheat! We will be trying that out in exactly two weeks! :jumpforjoy
  20. Loved the report. I had no idea that Guntersville had been also hit by the April 2011 storms that hit around here so badly. That's really sad. Oh my gosh. I'm dying.
