I do it in one shot form time to time form south bend Indiana. but to tell the truth you really don't save anytime. if I stop for about 6 hours and sleep somewhere usually around Macon then I arrive at the fort feeling good and set up in time to enjoy a nice night. if I push on through and do it all at once then I exhausted and then have to set up just so I can go in and crash feeling like crap. I have had reasons do do it both ways.I do prefer to drive at night. everything runs cooler and no traffic jams or construction delays

My son has one of the original "Disney Bears" and the story book that went along with it...telling the story of how he was Mickey's bear and Tinker Bell used pixie dust to allow him to come alive and tour Magic Kingdom with Mickey.  It was a cute story and my kids loved the book because it talked about Magic Kingdom.  Then all of a sudden, they changed his name to "Duffy" and had this whole different story about how Minnie made him for Mickey and they were confused and not a fan.

Build it in Brazil. Attendance at WDW would drop 30%, and there wouldn't be any more pennants on sticks bobbing along!

In Alabama, ours are De Soto State Park, and Honeycomb Campground (a TVA run campground). Monte Sano is decent if you're looking for somewhere close (in) to Huntsville. I haven't been in many many years but I have some fond memories of visiting Lakepoint Resort State Park in Eufaula as a kid as well.

I find the blood I lose doing these projects usually covers up my mistakes.

I'm with Big Tom.  I used to think that I could fix anything cheaper than a repair professional could because I don't have to pay myself but I proved myself wrong while doing a brake job on an old car.  The parts to replace the brake shoes cost me 30 bucks.  The trip to the emergency room to save my eye was much more even with insurance.  My first reaction to this thread is, Yes you can fix it but how good do you need it to look.  First I would duck tape over the rotted area immediately to stop any more water from coming in.  When you have more than a weekend to spend on the project you could pry off the edging, pry back the exterior sheeting if it is not glued to the ply wood then cut out the bad plywood with a reciprocating saw.  Then go to Home Depot and buy a small piece of plywood that is the same thickness as the wood you cut out.  Glue the exterior sheeting back over the plywood and then replace the angle piece at the corner with a new piece that you should have also bought at the Home Depot.  Then you will have to paint the entire pop up to help hide all the imperfections in your week end mechanic repair job.  OR,  you can take to your local dealer and let them replace the entire side and front of the unit with factory made parts.  I vote for number B.  But thats just because i hate looking all the mistakes I made in all of my repair projects.  You could be different.

I always say if someone else can fix it, I can. may not be as fast, but usually I get it done.

geoffdaddy got a reaction from Avatab.... Steve in Another Epcot Rumor???
I remembered seeing EO when I was a kid in about 1986 and liked it. I was also 10 years old though. I watched the aforementioned Youtube video before Jennifer and I started going again and decided we should avoid it like the plague.

I think Epcot has two issues. First, the "future world" is decidedly un-futuristic (although I do think that the new Test Track is a step in the right direction), and dare I say it is not as educational (while still being loads of fun) as it once was. The other is that more free international trade has made the World Showcase less special. I remember eating Gummy bears at the Germany pavilion for the first time as a kid and that was darn near the only place you could find them. Now all the stuff you find in their shops is readily available just about anywhere.

Soarin, Imagination, and Wonders of Life all need to be updated/reopened. Probably Universe of Energy as well.

With the continuing loss of amenities and the rising prices I think Pocaanus is more appropriate.
