OK, this was part of our RADP meets back in the early years. I think they went from 99 - 2002.
Some goofy friends of ours (Jeff and Jenn) LOVED the little details of the parks, so they decided to create an all day scavenger hunt. The first couple of years it was pure scavenger hunt. About 1000 trivia questions similar to what I quoted above. The spent the entire year (they live pretty local, near Tampa, I think) scouring the parks, attractions, and resorts for these questions. Then anyone that wanted to get together a team could enter. Teams of 4, you had to stay together, and only use Disney transportation. 12 hours, all parks, all resorts, and DTD, then met up at a certain restaurant or bar at the end of the day, and they tallied our scores, and the winning team got dinner at California Grill.
The next couple of years they turned it into Amazing Race style. It was actually a lot easier, because they were finding that some of questions they found earlier in the year had been remodeled out of existence by the end of the year. Signs changed, car props were moved, etc., etc. Plus the holiday overlays changed a lot of things. Instead of 1000 questions, there were mini quests in various places, and fun games at several locations. For example one year, they gave us quests at the Poly, Grand, Contemporary and Wilderness Lodge, when we completed that quest, we would have the room number of their cabin at Fort Wilderness. Then we would need to go to their cabin, pick up the final clue, and get to the finish line at Crockets. Well, since I knew that all the cabin loops started with 2000, and then it would be a simple matter of walking the loop to find their cabin, we only went to the Poly and finished the clue that told us they were in 2700 loop. Then sped over to the Fort and got the clue. We didn't win. (There was a team with teenagers that could really "move") Us old farts didn't stand a chance. But it did move us up into 2nd place from about 5th.
They were then contacted by Dave and Jennifer Marx (Passporter) and a lot of their questions and quests were turned into the Passporter Treasure Hunts book. http://www.passporter.com/hunts/
They now have two little kids, so don't have much time for galivanting around WDW looking for obscure clues.
I think they do still go and find new things for the book though.

They don't seem to be having a problem keeping busy! On Friday night, they came through the 500 loop numerous times. Once Judy and I even sang a Christmas carol to them. As a matter of fact, that may have been the last one we saw come though there.
Actually, the girl in the sleigh said "I don't know what they're drinking, but I want some of it!" :hah:

That turkey was probably scared of Jen's dog. He got a piece of one of them.

This is in the MK its on the ground, there are bricks in liberty square near the Christmas shop or its near the Frontierland restrooms. I remember seeing it but I forgot where. I took a picture of it after we left Pecos bills on the way to Haunted Mansion

Disney Cruise Line has re-categorized some staterooms on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy. Effective October 18, a total of 120 staterooms will be categorized into five new categories:
4E – Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah - Oversized Verandah
5E – Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Verandah - Oversized Verandah, some with solid white wall
7A – Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom with Navigator Verandah, Undersized or Obstructed Verandah
9C – Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom, One Porthole, Obstructed View
9D – Deluxe Oceanview Stateroom, One Porthole, Obstructed View - limited view of ocean

I was in the Meadow TP this morning as a castmember was putting out new Fort license plates, license plate frames and car magnets. Also a new men's tshirt. I was the very first to purchase the new men's shirt. I am posting from my phone so no photos for now.

As I said, some of my T@B friends actually came over to Disney after St. Augustine for a few days, and we decided to get together Friday night at DTD. Apparently, a LOT of you met them, because they were stopped by many Fiends asking if they knew me and received Fiend cards!!!!
Anywho, we went to Earl of Sandwhich for dinner, Yummmy!!!! and wandered around the shops. Here are a couple of pics. (Didn't take many).

They had this stocking mask and neck scarf. Too funny!!!

One of my T@B friends lives locally and is a Reedy Creek EMT (also considered cast members).
She was very generous and used her 40% holiday discount to purchase us all some great gifts. (after an exchange of some cash from us).
We took the opportunity to receive these for the camper!! I would never purchase them for myself, but as a gift (after an exchange of some cash from us). they are wonderful!!!

Coming next, our last full day, and our heading home morning.
