  1. it really doesn't matter how it looks, as long as it tastes good. That second picture is hilarious, however. Maybe it was somebody's first day.
  2. I think the most disturbing thing to me when I put the TPMS on was how hot these tires run. When I first ran it, I was asking what temp is a problem and found there really is no answer, since it varies with the ambient temp and road conditions. The thing to watch with temps is a rapid increase and/or a significant difference between temps of one tire vs another. I, too, have noticed a significantly higher incidence of blowouts on 5ers. When I have checked tires, I see a lot of them running the same tire as I do on my TT, despite a significantly larger unit. I strongly suspect they are o
  3. The most critical factors in blowouts are weight, pressure and speed. Keep your speed down, don't overload and keep the inflation up. The TPMS you have installed will do more as far as blowout prevention than what gas the tire is filled with.
  4. I have limped into the Fort more than once with tow vehicle issues, and I have limped home with them as well. Whenever I feel sorry for myself for having truck issues on vacation, I think of my grandfather, who decided to take a trip to Florida from Western New York in the 1930's in his Model A Ford. He loaded it up with spare tires and parts and off he went. It took him a week, he slept on the side of the road, and when he got to the Sunshine State there wasn't much to greet him. He loaded up his car with seashells and came home. What an adventure, though. I can't imagine going that dis
  5. A first for FWG. I am first onboard!
  6. LT Dan is not PC enough for Disney. I hear they got a real deal on Torres. I actually asked for more money to do the narration than she did. She needed the work more.
  7. Imagine my excitement when I saw the title of the thread. Imagine my disappointment when I realized it was not the swamp trail.
  8. Wow. Not sure I would have spent this much of my vacation time working on a comfort station HVAC issue.
  9. Given the option, I think it's pretty obvious what I would (or wouldn't) be wearing if I had this job.
  10. It was always our tradition on Studios day to start out at the Writers Stop for a coffee a carrot cake cookie. We used to love to sit at a table by the window and make fun of the people walking by. Just memories now.
  11. I don't know. I think I'd pay twice that for a burger just to be able to eat it in a fake fiberglass car and watch B movie clips.
  12. Remember when your college professor said there is no such thing as a stupid question? There it is.
  13. My take is the administrative costs of running the program weren't offset by the money that would be spent. A savings program like this is attractive to people who have to actually save for a vacation, and can perhaps only afford to go every couple of years or so. While this may be the demographic Walt was interested in, the current bean counters are obviously interested in attracting a higher end clientele.
  14. Fake news! My buddy Andy has been a part timer for Disney for about 15 years and his hours are always going up and down. One common reason has been an influx of College Program kids. When a new crop comes in, his hours get cut.
  15. Never mind. I found it. I think I will order one. It will be worth the 20 bucks not to have Carol dropping change all over the truck whenever a toll booth pops up. Then trying to hit the target from the truck window. I probably have lost over 20 dollars each trip that way.
  16. All I could see were places to buy it in Florida. I didn't see anywhere to order it online.
  17. Im curious. How are you preordering the Sunpass?
  18. It's tough to be idolized. So much responsibility.
  19. I hear if Security catches you riding on the roadways, they will give you a ride! How's that for service?
