Love the chicken. We have a campground locally the has a similar offering to the GAG. Chicken is on par with the Fort but the sides don't come close. The Mac and cheese with the GAG is the best. It is the only Mac and cheese I have found that is good reheated in the microwave the next day. -

Beef on wreck was a favorite of mine while haunting the halls of academe at the University of Buffalo. Despite my high blood pressure and sodium sensitivity, I believe it would be worth the risk of having my head explode to try Disney's version. And horseradish is a must. Go big or go home, losers. -

So many question marks. So many. -
Bobby says the contract for the gondolas has already been awarded. Low bidder was the same Yugoslavian company who once manufactured the Yugo.

Bison meat is very lean and, unless mixed with beef, tends to be dry. -
This is precisely why gondolas are a horrible idea. Many years ago my family and I were riding this very gondola and a giant ape attacked us. I seem to remember it being located in central Florida, however.

I can get tanked at my trailer for about 1/10 of the cost of booze at any Disney restaurant. -
I am deeply saddened by the passing of Brady. Thru our Facebook friendship I feel I have become close to him.

Palmetto Shores RV Resort
ftwildernessguy replied to hnicewa1's topic in Camping To and From the Fort
The New Green Acres used to be our usual overnight stop to and from the Fort until we changed our route. Big pull through wooded sites, clean rest rooms, easy access to 95. -

Nothing says fine dining like cold pickled fish. -
Love LCR. I'm a Buffalo boy, and it is made by a Buffalo company. Quick, easy to learn.

If you buy your lettuce in the grocery store and it doesn't specifically say it is from the USA, there is a really good chance it was fertilized with human waste. Makes that fish fertilizer lettuce sound pretty appetizing now, doesn't it? -
Hess station near FW?
ftwildernessguy replied to Momof6....aka Marty's topic in Travel and Transportation
Did you know all gas is the same? There is a gasoline and oil storage facility near us, and you can watch every major in addition to generic brand trucks fill up there. Same with fuel oil. -

Last time I was there the darn lid almost took my head off as I was dumpster diving.
