  1. My wife and I were just talking about this. Will they charge for vehicles at the cabins? I can see them charging for anything parked in overflow. I can't imagine they would charge for tow vehicles or an vehicles at the campsite. If they do, I'll be cancelling all 6 reservations I have for this year.
  2. Usually, at hotels that charge for parking, they add the charge to your hotel bill when you check in. You get a permit. My guess is they will check overnite to see if there are cars without the permit in the lots and add a warning, and then tow if it continues.
  3. There is a LOT of work being planned for Epcot. Nothing will surprise me at this early stage.
  4. Thanks for posting this! It finally showed up on the Verizon web site. I called, got the plan and am now saving $42 a month with unlimited data, including hotspot. Verizon 55 plus plan
  5. Just walked by and plenty of chairs. They were either cleaned or refinished. They look much better.
  6. I think you'll be happy with them. Mine have been really good so far (over 2 years).
  7. My daughter and son in law participate in Dapper Days often. They seem to enjoy it.
  8. We had a great time. REALLY enjoyed that room. The snacks were a bit pricey though.
  9. If you go there, there is a great pizzeria on Fairbanks in Winter Park called Antonella's. Well worth the stop. Just down the road from Rollins.
  10. On the morning of Thursday Feb 15th, my wife drove up Sherberth to Osceola Parkway around 10AM. The line of traffic to even park at Animal Kingdom stretched past World Drive. I checked the app and the wait time for Flight of Passage was 4 hours. That's insane.
  11. please let us know what you think of them. I like the Carlisle Radial Trails, but am leaning towards the Endurance tires the next time I need them.
  12. I would estimate they removed about half of the parking near the Marina. The lot near Trails End was certainly not anywhere near full, so still plenty of room.
  13. It was great meeting you and your daughter today. I sat down at the table and thought, "That looks like TCD!". I'll add a few more pictures here. It seems as though in addition to reducing the number of carts parked up near the marina, they've eliminated carts pulling directly into walkways. My wife was wondering if someone walking was hit by a cart in that area and that sparked this change. Here are some more pictures. No additional explanation necessary; TCD covered it well. The new fence on the far side of this walkway shows an area that used to be parking but i
  14. True. That is another symptom of a bigger problem you see everywhere. A good example is what people are passing off as service dogs; as discussed in another thread(s). It is really mind boggling how so many people must have no feeling of regret or remorse when they are knowingly breaking rules and/or being inconsiderate of other people.
  15. Agree 100% In addition, there is a big problem with an increasing number of guests feeling the rules don't apply to them. That makes it even more difficult to enforce. This includes far more than the golf cart rules.
  16. I have the new Carlisle Radial Trail tires and they’ve been excellent. Wouldn’t hesitate to buy them again. That said, those Goodyear Endurance tires look good. They are available in a higher weight rating than anybody else for a given tire size (at least for 14” tires).
  17. I may be able to take a walk there tomorrow some time in the afternoon. If I do, I’ll take a few pictures.
  18. Agree 100%. I've watched people with the 40' fifth wheels have issues getting in as well as some of the large class As, especially on the inside of the loop. Sometimes they end up driving off I presume to ask for another site. At the same time, I've witnessed some amazing backing skills bring a big rig right into a site. Not a lot of room to spare, but they got in. However you shouldn't have an issue at 30'.
  19. I was hoping this was going to happen. Walking around the Settlement and down to the marina was getting too hectic and outright dangerous. When we were there this past Christmas and new Years, the golf cart situation in that area was getting out of control. We saw kids around the playground run towards Trails End, and almost get hit by golf carts in the process. Too much foot traffic in that area. Hopefully this will provide some structure to where the carts can go and also make for a more peaceful area.
  20. Here I thought this was going to be a post about Claude Giroux.
