It really was an amazing wedding. I had a trip report on here but the pictures were on photobucket and are now gone. On New Years Eve we took a bus from Fort Wilderness to Animal Kingdom. The traffic into Magic Kingdom was backed up from the toll booths past Buena Vista Drive! People couldn't even get into Epcot unless they were coming in via 536. When we returned from Animal Kingdom around 2PM, the line was still just about as long, but the toll booths were shut down, and everybody was just sitting there. My wife and I took another bus in the afternoon to Hollywood Studios to meet up with our daughter and son in law. Studios wasn't bad at all, very nice in fact. When my daughter got married at Disney she could pick venues in and out of the park. She chose the wedding pavilion. The biggest factor besides price for in park venues was the time limitations. Having to plan a wedding for 8am can be tough if you are having guests. The cost was not as bad as you may think for what we got.

Been at the Fort since December 15th, leaving January 2nd. Been too busy to write anything but still check in. I have to say this has been a really good trip; very respectful campers and excellent cast members. I don’t think there’s been anything that hasn’t surpassed expectations with the exception of the broken hot chocolate machine at Trails End and other resorts. They seem to be having trouble getting Nestle to fix them.

Or, many new RV owners who bought into the hype of the TV shows will realize there are other aspects to RV ownership such as maintenance and repairs. I wonder if we're heading towards an burst of the RV bubble which will bring the demand down a bit.

We're over at the Fort right now. I had to go to work yesterday and my wife headed over to see it. She said the show is excellent, much improved. She did think Trump's jaw movement was a bit strange and stiff. Also, the audience was respectful; no comments.

The biggest thing that is such a shame is the fact that this does not shock me.

We'll be at Fort Wilderness but are planning on watching the Magic Kingdom fireworks on New Years Eve Eve (Eve Squared?) and then heading to Animal Kingdom or Studios New Years Eve. If Animal Kingdom, we'll probably just hit the beach for new Years or if Studios, just stay there. Won't be paying extra for any of these shows, but agree that the Backyard BBQ looks the best. The Atlantic Dance Hall event doesn't look bad for the money, but not really sure what you get in terms of food.

Yes, I forgot about the tortoises. I don't remember anybody riding on them though; but it's been a while. First time I went was in 1975 as a teenager and then I went on my honeymoon in 1984. After that, we would go there frequently until it closed.

the parties are great. It is for anybody 10 years and up on their 5 year anniversaries (10, 15, 20, 25, etc). The food is amazing, and reception the cast members get is wonderful. When we would go, they would bring you in on buses and drop you on a red carpet lined with people applauding. Really a special time. Good point about the ability of the Capybaras to swim. I definitely remember them either on the walkways or besides the walk ways. They definitely had free reign as did other animals. As I posted, I remember the aviary, which was huge; but I can't remember specific cages for other animals. I'm sure there were, but the free walking animals must be what sticks in my mind.

The birds were in a walk through area, but other than that, the animals just walked around. I can't remember if there were any animals in cages. Discovery Island was a great place. I still wish it was open when we ride past it on the boat.

To start, I totaled my car on I-4, near the 535 exit after getting hit by a semi on the way to work (and then hitting a pickup truck as I spun around at 70MPH).
