Not to mention all of the construction fencing that would need to be relocated and access roads/paths opened over to the barn that would miss all of the construction.

Just like all the A HOLES from NY who are now flocking to FL to move in with their parents and grand-parents.  The GOV just made that statement from the VIllages..    But of course de Blasio will blame it on Trump...

I've stopped clicking on any of them.
    Because this exactly.
Seems unlikely.  It may run its course, similar to the regular flu virus, and then peter out,  but like the regular flu, it could resurface next "season".
That's why they're saying that while a vaccine is unlikely to be ready in time for what's happening now, it will seriously help when this thing raises its ugly head next time.

I wonder how many young fledglings got their start with chalk and later graduated to spray paint.  Check all of the rail cars you see going down the track and the surfaces of a thousand walls and structures.

I agree but my kid likes them so I watch them with her, and as they make her laugh and smile it makes me ok with them. After all there made for kids.

Being supported by locals has always been the big difference between Disneyland and WDW. Being local really does reduce the feeling that you must get to the park and rush to get everything in. When I lived in SoCal it was very common for friends and myself to decide to go to the park on the spur of the moment. Talking with family that still lives there that type behavior really hasn't changed.

But the crowd level at WDW is almost 3 times that of DL and that would affect how fast Boarding Passes run out. Same for CM opportunities since the paying customer would get preference.

I agree- but there were still some banner planes even after that. I recall just a few years back that there was a controversy over an organization that hired a banner plane to fly over WDW to protest Gay Days. I remember seeing that plane flying over Hollywood Studios. But since then, I haven’t seen one. I think there might have been even stricter rules implemented more recently. At least for banner planes.

Can't agree with this more.  Add the town of Keystone and spend some time there.  Also, Badlands and Wind Cave National Parks are great. The crafts being sold at Crazy Horse and the people selling them are terrific.  As a side story, my wife's family used to take their camper from NJ to South Dakota to take clothes collected at their church to an episcopal priest named Father Two Hawk.  The clothes were for the Native Americans there.  While visiting, my wife and her siblings would ride horses and play with the children on the reservation.  Several years ago when we were at Crazy Horse, my wife was talking to a woman who was making a dream catcher for our daughter.  In the course of the conversation, my wife mentioned her trips to Father Two Hawk and why they came.  the woman, who was my wife's age, stopped what she was doing and said, "I got my clothes from Father Two Hawk when I was a child."  Here she was at the same reservation at the same time my wife would visit.  And they met almost 40 years later.

With the campground at least I have stopped doing online check in. Since I do not use the option to charge to the room (or site in this case), and they don't charge a parking fee, it avoids them putting holds on my account. This does mean I have to spend 10 minutes going through check in but that doesn't bother me. Last trip I was actually excited to pull up with the bus for it's first time.

Also agree.  One note from experience - there are a few sites about halfway through the loop on the outside that back up fairly closely to the sidewalk on the main road.  This might be a good thing if you want easy access to that sidewalk but if you don't, avoid those sites if you can.  In our case we had dogs with us and having people walking by that closely wasn't ideal.

I agree with both of the previous posts, but wanted to add some more thoughts.
Considering that you’re going in June, you probably will want easy access to the pool and campfire area.  If we are talking regular premium and not Meadow premium, I’d say 500 or 1300.
Another thing to consider this year is all of the construction in the Settlement area.  500 and 1300 will distance you from that.

I blame local government for that, Lake County is a prime example. There are numerous "Golf Cart Communities" between 192 and Saw Grass, but the county didn't require or build any sidewalks along 27 for carts to use. They just spent tons of money to upgrade 27 and did nothing to upgrade the walks.

Construction fence is down today. They’re still working on it but I’d assume it’s opening soon.

The second thing you here from a CM after hello is "Do you have a meal plan?".
I see so many posts on FB pages about people having unused credits and ending up using them on snacks or just plain losing them.
A friend used to get the meal plans for his family and also book the concierge levels at the resorts with all the "free" food, so they never used their credits up.
The dining plans probably make Disney a fortune.  They figure most familys won't use them up so it's pure profit on the unused credits.
