Wow. That was an epic trip. I'm sure that made a big impact on the kids. It did when I was a kid.

I hate parking fees at any hotel. I feel that I am already paying to stay there why should I pay to park there....just another example of nickel and dime tactics. Nobody should be surprised Disney is pulling this one, after all of the other increases, surge pricing, amenity reductions, etc. It will only change when people stop going. But with all of the new attractions opening I don't see a demand issue in the future.

Back when we had a 24' TT I liked site 227. It is at an angle and doesn't have anyone on the door side of the site.

Responsibility fell on the one who didn't do the utility locate correctly. It wasn't our fault....but it did cost a lot of money to repair. They worked all night on it.

I would have "fallen" out over some water. Free trips for life.

I usually browse through a few times a day. Although I find myself getting my fix on facebook and YouTube more these days. Our Disney/Fort love is strong.  5 trips/5 weeks this year. No time for TR's though. Running a business and working a full time job barely leaves time for family, much less computer time. 

My youngest daughter got a guinea pig the other day. I told her if it we decided not to keep it that I was going to eat it. They are widely eaten in south America. I wanted to named it Stir Fry.

My stoke level is rising quickly for this trip and this adds to it. I just bought new shoes for the dually and planning on starting prepping the 5'er tomorrow.

We hopped a small boat back to WL during the fireworks. We were just behind you.  The boat captain slowed down in front of MK to let us watch tink fly and see the grand finale. It was almost like a private fireworks cruise lol

The Marceline tour sounds pretty good to do with kids. I may book this one. 

Small children get a pass, but under no circumstances should an adult male be using inline skates. Automatic man card revocation.

The wife and I went to the lodge the other night and decided to try the big ribeye. I would normally order mine med rare, but my wife can't do med rare. So we ordered medium. I was surprised that it was perfectly medium even though it was close to 2" thick.  It was very tender. It wasn't the most flavorful ribeye ever, but it was very good. The cap was perfect. We paired this up with 2 sides....the crispy Brussel sprouts and mac & cheese. Both sides were good, but nothing that you can't make at home if you're a good cook. The bread service was also very good. All in all it was a good dinner, and the 20% off AP discount it made the $120 price bearable. I would do it again but I wont get in the habit of it.

The filet and cheese soup from Canada were on point tonight, as was the braised beef from Belgium, brisket from the America booth or whatever it's called and the hummus fries from Morocco were good. The cheese and bread from Ireland was an acquired taste.
