Nicki aka Rebelstand 272 Posted October 20, 2013 Author Report Share Posted October 20, 2013 Charge - Into Fantasyland and off to the first Castle After we marched down main street, the first group stopped in Cindy's Castle but ours went on to the carousel. Here we met our Imagineer who took us through a talking tour of Fantasyland on our way to BOG. She talked about how inside fantasyland it was meant to be a fair or celebration. A strollerless Fantasyland- Those weird castle walls you walk through going to BOG are suppose represent the change from Castle to village. She talked about how everything was meant to look a bit rougher than inside the castle. Then she took us where I have so far never ventured. Be Our Guest. She talked about how this castle was meant to look like it had been under siege at one time- Belle & Beast's crest- There was a story behind these statues but I didn't retain the info- This stain glass is the start of the story. Going through BOG is suppose to be the telling of the story room by room, or that is the impression I was left with. Off we go into the Castle- These statues are holding up the burden of the beast- This one is by the exit because it's the happy ending- Not to worry, we aren't done here by a long shot. Now I will share a Rebel Factoid. I always preferred the Beast to the transformed Prince. Even from Anna's age, I thought he was too much of a pretty boy once he regained his human form... The morning we toured it I dropped my camera 6' onto the ground coming out of the moho. After that it quit focusing correctly, so most of my suite pictures are blurry. They always laugh hysterically when the prince flings his head around so dramatically and his flowing hair flips around his head. They all think he looks ridiculous.
