This was Zeus's (4 yr old schnoodle) favorite view of the Fort. He would sit on top of the couch, with his favorite stuffed squirrel under his chin, keeping watch from lot 1616.:)

This is my latest pup, Banzai, a Miniature Australian Shepard at 5 1/2 Months.  We got him in October.

This is the TCD dog, Rocky. He is the third boxer we have owned, and the only one out of the three who enjoys swimming. I snapped this photo during a recent visit to Honeymoon Island State Park: TCD

Here is our Foofy doing what she does best.....guarding us from evil doers.

She, too, was a rescue.  The sweetest little thing....the people that had her didn't want an indoor dog.

Can you imagine that little thing left outside??

We adopted her 3 1/2 years ago (around the same time we adopted Anna).

How stupid were her original owners to think that Foofy was an outside dog?

Anna and Foofy, it was quite a year.

AW, Foofy.

Our little maltese Daisy protects us from evil doers. Unless the evil doers have cookies. For one cookie, she'll give them all our stuff.

Great pictures!

You know what's funny? When we went to meet her, my husband wasn't totally sold on getting a dog. When they brought her in, she walked right past me, over to my husband and rolled over on his feet.  I kid you not!

He was putty in her hands.

I'm a firm believer that we don't choose our pets.  They choose us!

Thanks!  She often will doze off sitting up LOL.  She was really tired as that was her first full trip out with us.  We had another dal that we lost last year, and because of his issues, we left both dogs home with the kids the first two seasons.

Patti is beautiful! I'm partial to black and white spotted figs :-)

More great pics!  Love sleepy Patti.  :)

Upon further reflection, I am really disappointed that I didn't think to name my dog Foofy. Such a great name.

I love this thread! Seeing pictures of pups puts a smile on my face. Here's Buzz and Dakota, at bath time!

They are adorable! Our little daisy is all fluffy - - and look much more sizable until bathtime.  She is almost all fur!

It's amazing how tiny these pups are, under all that fur!

Here is our tired camping buddy Patti:

And our Bengal Cat Angel:

Patti and Angel are gorgeous! I grew up with a dalmatian - I miss him so much!

While I'm loving all the pet pics, this one is so funny!

"What did I do to deserve this?"

Believe it or not, he actually doesn't mind taking a bath too much. Dakota, on the other hand.....another story there!
