AC in A2......Aaron and 2 others reacted to Lou... for a topic
Liz, I don't camp, I don't jet ski, hardly ever go to the parks, I'm not all that crazy about WDW restaurants. and I don't particularly like most campers, especially the ones on here. So I will be of no use to you at all. And don't get so excited about coming to WDW. It's not what it's cracked up to be. Other than that, welcome and let's get that post count past one.3 points -

Some Times It's A Magical Bus

The three transportation modes have a series of collector cards that some CMs, not many, give out when asked. Buses have three that represent the three different bus models, soon to be two. There are 25 in a complete set and finding all of them is almost impossible.1 point -
Some Times It's A Magical Bus

I was assigned to the Studios bus hub yesterday and while waiting for people to finish boarding, a little boy, about 9 or 10 years old, afflicted with an obvious muscular disorder struggles to walk up to me. He's managing to hold onto a bunch of little white cards and a pen. Please sign, please sign. As his disability also affects his speech, I didn't quite understand what he was saying at first, until I look at the cards in his disfigured hand. The cards have something written on them. After looking at them a little more closely, I notice that there are a couple of autographs scribbled on the1 point -

AAA Discounts
BouncingTiggers reacted to Tri-Circle-D for a topic
This is a topic which has been discussed here on a few previous occasions. Just because you have AAA does not mean you will always get a discount at the Fort. There are a limited number of discounts. The folks who have the best luck getting the discounts are those who book far in advance. Some times of the year, there are none available. And good luck trying to find out when- that information is not published anywhere. And, you don't need to actually be a member of AAA to book the discount. Or, in many cases, to use it. So, that makes it even harder for real AAA members to get discounts. I1 point -

I like how there's a special rate for the Democratic Convention: The Republican Convention is in Tampa in August. There was an article in our local paper not too long ago about how some state delegates were complaining about their hotel assignments. At least they weren't assigned to a campground. So, what is the Wilderness Lodge? I am guessing a big cabin? Sounds like it could be fun. TCD1 point -
Camping etiquette - If a fiend came knocking...

I am the opposite of Carol. If we're home, we're out in the screened room and everyone is welcome to stop by (weirdo's especially Mo, they're the most exciting visitors) If we are home, but not outside, we're inside....but not sleeping, so come back later.1 point -

No problem knocking on our door, if the GC and truck are there we usually are too. And remember if the MH is rockin "RUN LIKE HELL" we're having an earthquake. :rofl3:1 point -

I'm thinking I should have a black cap made up that has a fake but official looking seal on it that says "immigration". Wear a collared white shirt with black pants, then walk around the pool and picnic areas to see how many freeloaders scramble for the newly coated overflow lot.1 point -

It is perfectly fine to stop by and say hello. But it is not okay fly into someone's site with your car and introduce your extended family when you really do not know the person your visiting yourself. No one should have to tell another adult that they feel they are being intruded on. If it has gotten to that point then maybe it is just wise to leave well enough alone and not visit any more. We all have to keep in mind that not everyone is a social butterfly. It's just like drinking..... some do it socially, some are drunks and some don't drink at all. I love to have visitors but yes there a-1 points
