  1. You freely submitted your ideas about a service and several people freely disagreed with you and went out of their way to call the man to make sure you were saying the truth. I don't see this as bashing at all. I see it as researching your claim and then proving the claim false. Why is this considered bashing? Because people don't agree with you and are trying to see if someone has slipped in their business practices? Usually when people come onto a forum for the first time and start with a negative campaign of any sort, they are removed or censored. (Not here, other places) In my humble

So if it was not your intent to cause a stir, what was your intent? If you are offended that "others questioned my motives," why don't you explain what your motives were? And how about some facts? Did you make any effort to communicate with Tee Time between the time your credit card was charged and your first post here? Did you get charged the 30% cancellation penalty? You claim to be a travel agent. How would you like it if someone said something false and insulting about you to all of your customers? TCD

    Word of Caution

OK....I'm the relatively newbie that got my butt handed to me on a platter because all the Dick Tracy's out there on this "public" forum "felt" like my 1st post was a scam also. It was not !! In fact, my EZ GO cart is still for sale ! The format of the "introduction" post is well hidden in a general topic title. I needed the link to find it! Thank you again Katman. I see others struggle with this also. And many get scolded for not introducing themselves 1st, as I received a lashing! Wonder what scam "feels" like..... If you get that "scam" on you shoes, can you get it off? Or is it

  5. Shawndb, I was one of the posters that had questions about your post. Being a small business myself (in a very similar business), I know how something like this can effect someones business. People don't ask facts, they just read the bad stuff and assume. If something good is written about a business, it doesn't have 1/2 the impact on business as something bad being written. This will come up over and over again on the internet in searches. We don't want to you to leave, but you have to see our take on it when you posted. The written word is very hard to take back. Thank you for saying you are

  7. It is too bad this got so blown out of proportion. While I did see what many of the posters were suspecting, I still don't think it was fair to make assumptions about your intents or the reason you joined. Only you know that. I feel very badly about some of the harsh comments that were made. I haven't been around long enough to have seen what some of the regulars here have witnessed as far as "trolls", "spies", or others who seem to enjoy stirring things up or causing problems for businesses. So when I read your post I just thought you had experienced something negative and were throwing

  8. Not satisfied. You left the original post which remains in a google search. As stated by others AND yourself you jumped the gun and posted WITHOUT contacting Tee Time directly. Kenny was awesome when I rented from him, and in the future I will only use Tee Time. But I tell you what, leave us your business name and let some of us treat you the same way. Just want apply the Golden Rule of business fairly.

  9. Shawn, no need to leave the site. If you wish to participate we would love to have you. Several members on the board have small businesses, they know that word of mouth is crucial to their business. We have had many trolls or single time posters come in and try to start things. I appreciate you coming back and clearing up the situation. I think you will find that the people that felt were questioning/insulting are really good people. They may be a little jaded by previous experience. They question new members motives when they come in complaining about something. Unfortunately it has h

  10. When you come to exchange ideas, I will be happy to say welcome to you. You, however, did not do that. You joined for the specific purpose of venting and bad-mouthing. You had not even taken the time to CALL the company before you posted what you did. You did not join here to exchange ideas when you posted your first post. You do get a thank you for coming back and saying the issue was resolved and apologizing to Tee Time.

  11. I wanted to take a moment out and advise people to please make sure who you are doing business with and the terms of doing business with this entity. I had planned a long three weekend camping trip at Fort Wilderness and after reading the rave reviews about Tee Time decided to rent a cart from them. The other day the other family that was going to join us had to back out because their 17 year old son has to have surgery on a torn ligament the week of the planned camping trip. I emailed Tee Time 12 days in advance and asking them to advise me what the cancellation charge would be (I was expecti
