  1. Short, yet interesting article about bed bug sniffing dogs. http://www.bedbugs.org/dogs/
  2. My mom said Port Orleans has 7 dogs they use to sniff out bed bugs in the rooms. I think she said they were beagles.
  3. My mom went in September and stayed at Port Orleans. She said they have 7 dogs that they use to sniff out bed bugs. On her stay, she said numerous times she had to call housekeeping and have them clean her room. Typically they come everyday but this time they only came twice during a 9 day stay. She complained and Disney actually gave her a discount off her next stay.
  4. I am making Tonga toast for my husband's birthday Wednesday. The hardest part so far was finding uncut loaves of sourdough.
  5. Great report! I am very disappointed we had to cancel our trip and miss this event, I was really looking forward to it. Thanks for sharing your take and photos. I love enjoying Disney through your eyes.
  6. This looks really interesting. I have tried everything but have never seen this product before. Thanks for the recommendation.
  7. Wow you are getting really good at fireworks photos! Well now it's time to say goodbye to another trip report. Here's to a new year and new reports.
  8. Sick, crazy wind and cold, yet still had a great time. I am beginning to think a cruise might be fun. Now I just need to get past the motion sickness.
  9. Learned something new today. Thanks for posting this article, very interesting.
  10. Oh. My. Word!! What is wrong with people. We had a similar incident. I had been looking forward to watching the Electrical Parade. It was the first time since I was a kid and I was really excited. My husband staked a claim along with our crew and we settled in to wait and people watch. Out of no where two little kids show up and squeeze in. Then a few more and a few more. Next, you guessed it, 2 mom's with strollers bigger than mine!! They stood right in front of us and I was forced to the back. Their kids shoved my children out and took their seats on the curb. One of the moms looked at me an
  11. Beautiful blue sky and perfect shot of the castle. Just what I needed on a very cold , gray day up North. Looking forward to the savage part of this TR ;0)
  12. So where does the therapy pony stay? Or pig, monkey, llama, goat, hey what about a mini cow? With a cow you could have warm snuggles and fresh milk everyday. What loop do they get put in ;0).
  13. Reminds me of when everyone sent pins down to the little girl who had hers stolen. It would be awesome if the hoola hoops had Snarky on them ;0).
  14. Wait a second. We need to back up to your posting on rules and folding chairs. What is this? Pets (unless they are service animals, defined as any dog or miniature horse trained to do work or perform tasks for the benefit of an individual with a disability) Miniature horse! WTFort! Who brings a miniature horse to a park? Who even uses a miniature horse as a service animal?
  15. We have the same mugs and greatly enjoy them. AAA is a must, agreed. We have only had one bad experience with using them.
  16. It's fun how all these pictures evoke different emotions with all who follow along. They bring back memories of past trips, good or bad. The uhal invasion is interesting. I know a lot of campers will drag these boxes in with their Christmas decorations overflowing from them. I wonder if that was the case in this situation and they were waiting until after Thanksgiving to unload? BTW I still think "first page" bragging rights should be a thing.
  17. On our last visit we had a Pro Pride hitch delivered to the Fort. It was supposed to have arrived at our home before we left but was delayed. We called the front desk at the Fort to warn them of the many AND heavy boxes due to arrive. We offered to be there to unload but they wouldn't hear of it. On delivery day we get a notice on the camper that there are many HEAVY boxes waiting for pick up. Each box must have weighed 50lbs each. We offered a tip for the inconvenience but again were turned down. We felt so bad for the CM who had to unload those boxes that day.
