  1. Curious, on the way home will you just do the reverse and leave the Fort late?
  2. Oh this is good stuff. We are always trying to figure out the right amount of drive time we, mostly the children, can stand. Great list of good stopping points.
  3. I like the picture of your daughter and friend, super cute. The call ahead ordering could be a game changer. I hope they offer this service at all the parks.
  4. Okay now that is cute, crazy expensive but cute none the less. Someone was thinking outside the box and came up with a brilliant money maker.
  5. Not a fan right now but maybe it will look better once it is decorated. Kinda looks like a labor and delivery recovering room.
  6. I'm afraid to look anywhere but down in that area but I may hang to the back and let people pass to get a better look. Great article.
  7. Suspense, backstage herding, beautiful weather, on the ball CM's mercy, what a beginning.
  8. First page!! What a crazy check-in ordeal. Good thing you arrived early AND knew your Fort facts.
  9. That's fun, thanks for posting. I enjoy odd things like that. Kinda like the new Star Wars movie, I always wondered how Vader took a bath.
  10. Pets have been found in all loops. Yes it is posted that only certain loops are pet friendly but is not enforced.
  11. Thanks guys. Not surprising that Wilderness Lodged locked us campers out. Wouldn't want us showing up in our wife beaters and boots.
  12. I know this has been discussed before but what gym/fitness room options are there on property? Is anything close to the Fort? What about off property? I am sure there are rules/restrictions surrounding the use of any facilities as well.
  13. Great report as always. I would love to smell the Jasmine when in bloom.
  14. I will be the first to admit I love to ride on the back of a nice Harley. However I do not like obnoxious riders who love to make their bikes roar. We have a neighbor that works the night shift and drives his bike to work everyday. Everyday he wakes me up at 2:30 as he drives by blaring his music and gunning his bike making the most noise possible. I have started running a fan in our room to block his noise. Fun fact on deer: "In fact, the average white tail can jump over an obstacle that is not 5, 7, or 8 feet high but 12 or more feet high– taller than virtually any barrier deer fen
  15. No, I had no idea that was her catchphrase, ha kinda weird. Thanks for the recipe, I see some bunnies going into the pot. She looses me on chocolate covered peeps however, those things are just nasty. I will duck and run now as I know there are people that look forward to those suckers coming out every year.
  16. All about the bunny fondue, yummo! Your campsite was a real win. The food truck is cute but would definitely be slumming if parked at a site. Food looks good though.
  17. Mornings at the Fort are so nice. One of my favorite times of the day really. Quite, just me, nature and my coffee.
  18. Chubb run lol. I must have missed the misspell as I read chubb rub. Still funny either way. Um....yeah the bus driver taking a leak on the bus!?! It's no wonder campers get a bad rap. Nice grills and free propane, why not.
  19. Oh my stars lol "Im not sure that's going to be worse for that lady, the Chubb run with her shorts up her booty or the pain from her gladiator shoes..."
  20. What's this? A TCD report and I am late to the game. FAIL on me but I am all caught up and ready for more. Great people watching/photo snagging of the DHS event. Some of those pics were a little um....concerning. Fort looks good, I love 900 loop. Sad about the GAG though. We loved the value and the fact that it fed our crew of growing boys. I agree it's still a good deal and good eats. Looking forward to your Easter feast and other antics.
  21. My mom said she thought the dogs they used were beagles.
