  1. Good to know, not that it matters anymore, but definitely something I will keep in mind for the future.
  2. Right! The dealer is a big deal when it comes to warranty work. We bought our Jayco in Michigan. Thankfully we haven't had any problems with it because we would have had to pull it back to Michigan for repairs. Newbie mistake for sure.
  3. We came across a Prevost that had been redone. It was awesome and definitely go me thinking about going the remodel route. I think what you said about checking forums and reviews is a good idea and definitely something I will look into. In the end however, no 2 rigs are built the same and everyone has horror stories.
  4. The other issue is speeding down the road at 70 miles per hour with nothing but a sheet of thin plywood and fiberglass between my family and the black top. The seat belts in these things are a joke. Any suggestions?
  5. It seems like whenever you buy an RV/TT you are playing Russian Roulette. How then do you move forward with a motorhome that cost $80,000+? You are basically taking out a second mortgage on a potential piece of junk. What made you take the plunge and blow caution to the wind?
  6. What a neat accomplishment and fulfillment of a dream. It reminds me of River County but on a very small scale.
  7. We were almost ready to pull the trigger and up grade to a Class A and then my husband came across this article. Seasoned rv owners, what are your thoughts? http://livingstingy.blogspot.com/2014/09/the-rv-industrys-dirty-litle-secret.html?m=1
  8. Clueless that this was a "thing" Again, if someone wants to cause harm anything could be used.
  9. Looks like a great campground. Might have to book a site next time we head up that way.
  10. I must be really hungry because that actually looks pretty good. My stomach would hate me later for sure.
  11. Now Dave you better watch yourself. Your gonna get banned from the 3000 loop and find yourself missing some under roo's. Just saying ;0).
  12. That is why we avoid quick service. Even with older helpers now it is still crazy. Although everything is crazy with my sized crew ;0).
  13. I would love a class A if for nothing else than being able to let the kids sleep as we pull out early. Sure wish there was an app that allowed you to share not only the beautiful foliage at the Fort but also the smells. Sounds like you all had a great trip and wonderful time celebrating the girls birthday. Would you recommend the grass area for watching the fireworks now?
  14. Holy smokes!! If your going down better to make it big and take out all 3 lanes. Mercy glad you all are okay. I have severe tow anxiety and can't imagine how I would ever pull again after an event like that. When did this happen? Did Disney help you with your stay? Last year as we pulled down a similar event happen to another couple staying at the Fort. Disney comped their stay and paid for them to stay in a rental trailer while they sorted out what the next step would be.
  15. Thanks for sharing your TR. I wish more folks would take the time to write one. Bummer on the knee and rain but still sounds like a great trip. Has your wife recovered?
  16. Did the girls comment on how crowded the pool was? I would imagine it was really crazy. The food truck meal looks like a big fail. I wonder if anyone complained? Bummer on the chocolate bar although sounds like you wouldn't have enjoyed it anyway.
