We just decided to head back to the Fort for spring break.......Lake Magic at least, depending on price.
We did get a cool new collapsable wagon for Christmas to make laundry trips and loading/unloading and beach trips easier. Can't wait to try it!
Also decided to buy the Tommy Bahama beach chairs at Costco this year after tax time. Our 20 year old steel cheapos rusted out in Hilton Head in August.
Not sure if these count, but up here in PGH, the miserable weather is already getting to us.
    RV show this weekend!

I wasn't going to say anything but before a million show up I think I should.
I took the liberty of ordering 6 and having them shipped c/o the Millers. They should get delivered tomorrow if all goes well.
It seemed wrong to me that they weren't there for the kids to learn and play with.
My Christmas present to the Fiends and the Fort.

Correct, there was a great beach to the right of the boat walkway. They eventually built the Meadow Pool, but for years the beach was the place to be for water fun.
Used to be a lot of chairs picnic tables and hammocks on that side.  The Settlement Trading Post had a full deli that made sandwiches to order, and you could get a canned frosty adult beverage for about a $1 or less.  We used to stop at the Fort when we visited Orlando, rode the tram to the settlement, bought sandwiches, drinks and snacks for the entire family and picnicked on the beach.  Probably cost us about $20 for a family of 5 at that time.

PGHFiend reacted to Katman1356...Jason in Park Maps that can be printed on standard paper
The subject of wanting paper maps comes up from time to time. I went through and created files that can be printed on standard paper and still be readable. They arent quite the same thing as the ones at Disney I realize but thought some might like to have these for planning purposes. I broke them into 4 pages for each park but if you can double sided print you could get them on just two pieces of paper. And two of the pages arent completely necessary.

TCD, I'm  sorry you are so outraged  about the trees, and I dont have time or desire to write half of what you wrote to me but, of course I know that bay lake was there from the beginning.  There were once trees where the MK and parking lots are too, and I hope you are not still mourning their fate. If you want untouched prestine land, try a national park for a change.  I personally think they do a pretty good job of talking care of the nature that they maintain and OWN, and I recognize I have zero say in what they do with it, just like they have none with my land.
If you dont like it, stop going or spending money there and realize some relationships run their course whether we want them to or not .

Change is hard to take, but I'm sure they will put in some trees from the tree farm that will look the part and not be damaged during the work. Don't forget all of Disney is man made, and for whatever reason we all like it so much, we feel we have some say in the operation, which we never will.
Now, if they started clearing trees for sone more sites, we'd all be on board.

Ahhh, the GAG. We get one after we set up, amazing deal.
We're crock potting this time for sure, but the only place we plan on eating offsite this time is a breakfast type place that we last went to in Vegas called Hash House a Go Go. We just found they opened one on International Drive. It was on man vs food tv show a while back.
