BTW, I showed the soup cosy to my 14yo and he asked me to buy him one.  We do most of our microwave cooking in a Pampered Chef micro-cooker, but they also get hot on the bottom.

I have seen a broken or immobile animatronics character from time to time on many a Disney attraction, but I’m not sure I’ve ever been on a ride where every single audio-animatronic was turned off. Well, that’s what happened to our Disneyland Reporter Conner Purzycki as he rode Pirates of the Caribbean on Thursday evening:
Pretty creepy, huh? At least he wasn’t riding “it’s a small world” when this happened…
We don’t know exactly what happened to the ride, but it appears it wasn’t anything too major as it reopened shortly after this happened.

Tappan Zee Bridge is the way to go with a trailer. If you're coming from NH, you may want to look at taking 84 over and down 87 as well, not sure if it's any faster coming from where you are.

Traffic through the Cross Bronx and the GWB is totally unpredictable, best to avoid it if possible.

if you got the 4714 from the tire in the indented part near "DOT" that means they were produced the 47th week of 2014.  If you plan to move up in size and rating, make sure your wheels can handle the the max pressure of going to load range D.  My wheels can't for example, on the inside of the wheels there is a stamp that says not to exceed 55 psi.  The  Carlisle Load Range C tires I put on have a max cold psi of 50.  I believe Load Range D tires have a max psi of 65.  It was drilled into my head from my drag racing days to drive slow and keep the max cold psi in the tires and make sure the wheels could handle the max psi for the tires.

Several years ago a guy I knew upgraded to LRD without getting new wheels to match the psi.  So, he only inflated to 50-55 pounds.  Plus he didn't drive under 65 either.  So, that link above should be what happened to his trailer when the tire blew.

Has nothing to do with pumping of the gas. They need money for the Transportation Trust Fund to fix and maintain the roads. Of course, only in NJ do we have a dilemma to see if all the money should go to the TTF or it should be up to the legislature to dole it out. That decision is not as easy as it sounds, because supposedly if it all goes toward the TTF the government is going to borrow against it anyway. I need to get out....

Oh, that's easy.  Just buy the next scratch off tickets after me.  Monday night, I stopped in to visit my wife at her part time job and I bought 4 different scratch off tickets from her for $20.  scratched them off there to find losers and said to her jokingly, watch, the next ones are winners.  I go home and she calls me a half hour later.  Some dude bought one of the next tickets, scratched it off and it was a $250 winner.  She calls back a short time later and some woman won $50 off another game that I played.  She calls me at 11 pm to say the next ticket on another game was $20.  I then told her she better not call me if someone wins on the 4th one because I don't want to know.  So, just be behind me in line and replicate my scratch off game purchase, and you will instantly win!

Our Goodwill had Halloween and Christmas decoration on the shelves back in July.
There are quite a few stores down here with Christmas stuff out, SAMs, BJs, Dollar Tree.

I'm sorry to hear that bhall., that Harbor Freight event was downright scary.
I'm not much of  a drinker so the alcohol allergy wouldn't bother me, but the cherry one sure would.  Years ago I realized that the smell of eucalyptus when walking into Pier One or a similar store got to me quickly.  As a child my parents had me tested and that came up with allergies to cats, dogs, horses and dust.  I've lived with cats most of my life and seem to build an immunity to the ones I live with.  Also have two dogs in the house now.  And guess what!  Last 24 years of my working life I was a kennel person and then a mobile groomer.  When I was bitten by one of those pets, I needed to immediately wash the bite or it would swell up fast.  My own pets not so much, not that they bit me but sometimes I would get a scratch while playing with them.   

Thanks for all the kind words everyone.  I don't think she was sleeping when she passed as her eyes weren't closed .  but she was lying in her normal position while in her kennel. Of the four dogs, she was by a slight margin my favorite over Minnie and I think my wife's favorite since the passing of Belle.  She really knew how to fill in the gap after both Wrigley's and Belle's passing last year.  Last night and tonight have been weird without her at my wife's bedtime.  Every night she would do this weird rubbing/flopping around/dancing moves for a few minutes before my wife could climb in bed.  My wife called it Psycho Sushi time.  I really regret that I never filmed it.  The other dogs would just stand  there and watch the spectacle each night until she decided she was done.  Here is a video of other Chinese Crested dogs doing a similar thing.  She did what both of these did, but much faster.  It never got old to watch her every night.  That probably didn't help her  heart condition.



Thinking about this made me think if other Chinese Crested dogs did the same thing and it seems they do.

NaCole arrived this morning, and she is right across the street from us!  Ya'ay!  David helped her out with a few things.  He had designated today as his driving day.  So he got in the car and ended up driving to Melbourne.  Then when he got there he turned around and came back.  Didn't even get out of the car until he got back and went to Walmart.
Meanwhile I had a great time at Disney Springs.  It's been a few years since we've been there, and I was blown away by the changes.  I took lots of pictures, but since TCD has posted such great pictures I won't bore you with mine.
This afternoon we dogsat Simon for awhile.  He's a sweetheart.

Then we went looping with NaCole, Simon, and the kids.  When we got back, Mikeypro came over to visit.  It was great to meet him.
We have no FP+s for the next several days and will be winging it.

Waze is awesome until it takes you down a narrow country road with a one lane covered bridge with a 9 foot clearance and you have to back up with the 5er.  Don't ask me how I know.
I own a Rand McNally 7715 but I didn't have it on that trip because the charger cable for it got broken a day or 2 before the trip.

You may want to add a couple of more drives to your plan and check on them frequently.  I had two Western Digital external drives that I saved all of the pictures on.  I last checked on them right before Christmas of last  year and they were fine.  I drug them back out last month to put more pics on and neither were accessible by any computer in my house or any of my work laptops.  I have one more option of breaking the enclosures they are in and then placing the drives in my hard drive dock but I'm afraid to find out that won't work either and I've lost everything.

They're making it rain nightly at Mickey's Backyard Massage Parlor and Casino.  Delsa comes on at 9pm.  No one has asked for a refund yet.
