Yes, that's my list, so far, of my cool jobs that I've had, but I'm not done yet. My goal is 12.

Here's my list of what were IMO, cool jobs starting in 1996 
After being a CM for no more than six months at a time, I would return to the real world and resume my engineering business until the next break. My 18 year anniversary at WDW is in three weeks.

As my academic education ended at the 9th grade, I never got to the "S" words, so any help with words beginning with the letters "S" through "Z" is greatly appreciated.

I have a good friend that works in the WDW ticket distribution dept. and his job is to drive around and call on the authorized ticket resellers in central Florida. He's only one of a few CMs that do the same thing, so there must be quite a few resellers with some offering a discount.

While Undercover Tourist is mentioned the most, there are others.
The other popular authorized WDW ticket discount wholesalers are, The Official Ticket Center, Kissimmee Guest Services, Maple Leaf Tickets, Orlando Fun Tickets, and ParkSavers.com.

So as is the case with the typical Disney Imagineer, it'll be obsolete by the time it comes out, will take 5 years to build and 5 years to make it work, cost a billion dollars, will be over engineered but under-thought, will breakdown on a regular basis, real world engineers will scratch their heads and think WTF, he'll quit before it's done and stick some poor unsuspecting recent engineering college grad that doesn't know the difference between a socket head cap screw and a bolt which Disney is paying $15K a year, and people who are impressed by the word Imagineer will go ga-ga over and pay $100 to ride it.

Like most men, I'm so excited about this development.

I found, years ago, what worked for me was to have a home workout room.
Nothing too elaborate, a treadmill, elliptical, a few weights, and most important, a setup for my laptop and a TV. 
 
I have no excuse not to workout. But I still have to force myself, I hate doing it.

Talk about  parallels.
We are on our 60s, have two Silky Terriers that we adore, and I was an engineer.
Let's see, what would I like for a gift?
Got it. I would like for my son and my DIL to just visit me. That would be great.

As for the 5k, while I'm close enough and love animals of all types, I break out in hives at the thought of any physical exercise.

Good for you, stick with it. One third of the way is a big deal.
And what I said about physical exercise, like much of what I say about myself, is baloney.
 
At my age, I'm very conscious about my weight and health and really do work at it.
I do about an hour of cardio and strength exercises six days a week. If I can do it, anyone can.

Oh there is a back story and what a book it would make.
There are heroes, villains, mystery, intrigue, back stabbing, humor, new friendships, lost friendships, and maybe a tiny bit of sadness.
 
After most of the first FF.Net members were banned for life for no reason from that other board, Chris and Jen started FF.Net.
 
Except for a handful of people that are still there, we all joined the new site and a unique and radical format emerged. Let people be themselves, develop a family atmosphere, and get to know each other in the real world. It's also self moderating.
 
That Community Board on the other site has died and while the regular camping board is still there it's not very good. The people that are on there now are mostly new and don't hang around. It's humorless, and has lots of bad info.
