Well let's just hope it deters more people than it attracts. Some of the resorts are hard to find parking at times and when I'm a paying resort quest to cheap to pay for valet I don't want to have to park in the back forty. We stayed at YC once and had to park at BC and that was a real pain.

Except for the busiest Holiday weekends you can tell the guard ANYTHING and show a drivers licence and they let you in. Disney really doesn't care. They hope to sell them a coke or something. How hard is it to spot a local car, local ID, carload of people in bathing suites with towels and coolers. Barney Fife could catch 90% of them.

This was the first year in decades that I did not see even one second of the "Celebration"

They are showing partial and full hook up available now through Friday night then nothing. So expect Saturday to be a big check in day like always.

Will we have to use one of our fast pass+ for the scanners and are they going to increase the number of FP+s so we don't have to give up one of our tier 1 rides? Will we have to take off our MBs to go through the scanners. What about the metal plate in my head? If I have to have it removed my hair just won't part right.

I will say they look good. (The truck campers) But strange that none seem to have a dinning area and that one that is made for a short bed crew cab truck looks like it would tip over on jacks. Ford decals would be a lot cheaper.

Great report! We were in the first site you come to in the 1700 loop (last by the numbers) and Halloween night was just crazy busy in 1600 & 1700 loop. There must have been 12 strangers carts parked on our site. We tried to get over to the haunted house on the 1600 loop which we could see from our site but gave up because of all the people. It was as bad as main street after the fireworks. So that is were all the people must have been that weren't on the 700 loop.

I can't get my DW to even try and we only have a small popup. I just barely got her to drive our boat out in the gulf with nothing in sight. She's great in the car or truck without the trailer but I don't think I'll ever get her to drive anything with a trailer or anything larger than an F-150.

The people walking around looking at the trees are Horticulturists. We saw a and talked to a couple of them over Halloween. They are looking for dead or dying trees or limbs that need to be removed. They are also checking for the potato vines that they are trying to keep out of public areas.

Only loop I can think of is that is kind of hard to get around is the Little Bear part of the 1400 loop (The inside loop). It's a lot better now that they paved over the part where the big rigs had to drag their rear wheels through the dirt but it's still tight.

If you follow the link above that Jason posted they expressly forbid the propane fire pit. Look at the very bottom of the unapproved list and you'll see this type fire pit.

On the BRIGHT side it only took 1 guy to screw in the bulb.

Did not realize there were new carts I thought they had just added the GPS/info system. The FB post did not mention about totally new carts just a close up pic of the screen mounted to the mirror.

That is in the Contemporary isn't.

Just saw a post on FB that the golf carts now have what looks like a tablet mounted by the rear view mirror. It has a map of the campground and can track when a cart is in an off limits area and tells you to turn around. Can't wait to hear for a Fiend that can fill us in on what all else it can do.

Is this an eye exam, if so I failed. We weren't able to to get a site until the 31st so we misses the pet costume contest. So thanks for the report. Looking forward to the rest of the report.

Thanks I was wondering about that. I take the check in area is finished too. Any changes there? Like a dedicated online check in lane? Of course not.
