  1. Right now there are all level of sites available Monday- Friday even with FL res. discounts. So except for the weekends which are always tough to get there is availability. I would rather they do a whole loop at a time rather than it always seeming like they are working everytime I go. Even if they are just trimming the trees and leveling the sand pads. It would be tough to do without impacting guest. Not to mention the added burden of safety of the kids that are going to want to watch the work. This is one of the few cases that I think management is right.
  2. A sea of possibilities You can now talk, text, and use data on cruise lines while sailing aboard: Azamara Club Cruises®Celebrity Cruises®Disney Cruise LineOceania Cruises®Pullmantur CrucerosRegent Seven Seas Cruises®Royal Caribbean International®Select Silversea® shipsSkySea Cruise LineFrom the link above
  3. A lot of those sites could be lengthened where the big riggs could fit. Can of paint is cheaper I guess.
  4. Saw on FB a picture of new red trash cans at the campsites that look bear proof.
  5. Hocus Pocus was a huge hit at our house. It got watched every year until DD moved out and took the movie with her. I know she would be super excited to go to MK to see the stage show.
  6. Something tells me he will not win his appeal.
  7. Those are some cool pictures Thanks for the link. I liked the aerial shot that showed AKL in the background. I did not realize the lodge was that close to the park.
  8. IF that's the whole story, Disney is being ridiculous. If the want to check his room or search his person fine (I guess) but after finding nothing they should have dropped it. I see far worse behavior every time I go Disney and they don't even speak to the offenders let alone ban them for life. I do agree he should have waited for his appeal to be denied before going public. Everybody make bonehead decisions from time to time. He should have given Disney time to rethink theirs.
  9. The question should be are you going to be a pain in the ___? Veteran campers hold the line up as well because they know where they want to be and argue to get it. I have rarely checked in in less than 10 mins. It never seems to fail I get behind "that" guest. I spent 30 minutes in line when there was just the person at the window in front of me. Even the couple of times there was no line at all they were training a CM and it takes forever. I would so love to be text my site number and skip the check in altogether. They could save a small fortune not having to pass out the welcome pamph
  10. They had one at the old shack too. It was just better camouflaged by bushes. The new one right now looks they are afraid someone might steal their construction sign.
  11. As far as no shows for FP+ goes I think they allow for no shows in the system. I rarely go through a FP+ queue that doesn't have a line. In fact I think the FP+ lines are longer than they have ever been. So think how bad it would be if everyone showed up.
  12. They have gotten stricter over the years about returns. Used to be you bring back something that broke and they replaced it right away no questions ask. A few years ago my DW had a keychain she really liked with a spinning logo that broke after only 3 years. (lol) She showed it to a CM to see if they still had them to buy a new one and they gave her a replacement with no hassle at all. Then last year my GD had a pull string plush that broke after 1 week. When we took it back we had to get a manager involved because we did not have the receipt. He finally gave in and gave us a replacem
  13. OMG don't they sell hats out there? Must be the Asian influence out west. Samurai wannabes.
  14. Yea I kind of forgot this was going on. Those pic are almost 3 weeks old any updates to the update.
  15. Yep, I was just agreeing with you, putting some distance numbers, and adding my 2 cents about the drop offs and a toddler.
  16. Lately we have been taking Hillsborough all the way to I 4 by Hard Rock. I don't think it's faster but it's a LOT less stressful.
  17. Closest site is in 1600 loop is about 300 yards away, 1900 loop is 800 yards. Having a 31/2 year-old in your group I would stay away from the 1900 loop. Most of the sites in that loop have 8 to 20 inch drop offs around the sides and back of the sites that could cause a toddler fall. Sites 1627-1637 are the ones near the comfort station.
  18. They do let you restock at every port of call. Will cost more but less than buying on the ship. But still no help to me I am a bourbon man. I don't like wine. Beer is ok but I prefer the hard stuff.
  19. But what does the Great Wall of China smell like?
  20. We rented a pontoon boat for an hour and cruised all around Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon. Bring drinks and snacks. We also spent an afternoon cruising on Disney's transportation boats too and that of course is free. Take a boat to MK and catch a bus to Port Orleans Riverside and catch the boat to Disney Springs. If you have never seen him check out Bob. His show is free if you don't count the drinks and snacks you buy at the bar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_Mxhiw7aFo
  21. I never got Duffy. I thought he (if it is a he) was just made up to have more merchandise to sell. This is one takeaway I don't mind.
