Too funny on your (2nd) Everest picture. The guy looks terrified! Be thankful he wasn't sniveling into your shoulder the whole ride. Although he looks so uncomfortable the way he was. And I already can't wait for your Treehouse trip...start saving those pennies!

We haven't stayed at SSR yet but I would like to try the Treehouses there. Have you stayed in one of those? Interested to hear about the amazing dinner!

Okay, just read it. Sorry it sounds like your visit was less than magical but I kind of know what you mean. I have no desire to return anytime soon myself. But will enjoy reading along and seeing more adorable Anna pics :)

Fun report so far, falling squirrels included!! From the map it looks like you stayed right around where we did on one of our visits to Kidani. Wow, that is a long walk. At the end of the day the kids would count the steps as we made the long trek back. Not so bad at the beginning of the day but at the end it was a killer. Can't beat the view though :)

Well I know there has been a lot of speculation over there on what DVC will do next. People aren't happy with the Poly as it is all studios ( minus the bungalows). There is talk that they will just keep renovating deluxe resorts with just studios. I think he was trying to show the ridiculousness of what the DVC brass does (at least that's how I took it).

I would've put my hand in front of Z, too. He looks so little in the seat! Incredibly I have never seen Nemo. I try and go every trip and every time my family vetoes it. And the ironic thing is my friend's brother plays Bruce the shark and is always telling me he'll get us backstage. And my family still says no!

I meant to comment on an earlier post as well about the nautical flags at Disney. After you said they always spell out something I went back to our pictures of our trip to the Disney resort in Hilton Head. I remembered taking pics of the flags to figure out later what it spelled. I used your key and figured what this spells out around the pool. I'll let others figure it out for themselves. (It is just the same three flags, repeating around the pool, as far as I can tell).

It was a couple of years ago, I couldn't quite remember but she said it was from a cart. So trust me, I doubt this was a fresh one. It was probably a combination of her being hungry, and being ten. But it was just so funny, she enjoyed it so much and talked about it for months afterward. Here is a picture of her with it, I remember her insisting I get a shot of it.

Awesome trip report!! I have really enjoyed learning more about Disneyland and have renewed my vow to make it there someday. I have heard about the corn dogs before, dd#3 says we must go as she claims the best corn dog she ever had was in AK and would like to compare. So I guess we have to go.

I agree, no comment on how Z did on Dinosaur? How did you like it? That last dinosaur freaks us out yet we ride it every trip.

I guess if you take enough Valium, like those Californians, it is the best candy cane ever.
