Yeah, pretty much.

I'm not familiar with that campground but I believe Brewster in on the bayside, which is really nice. I think the water is warmer and when the tides go out there are little tide pools. We like Mayflower beach in Dennis. Besides what I posted above, it sounds like you'll have kids with you if you are going to Edaville. Not sure of their ages but the Sandwich Heritage Museum just opened an adventure park with zip lines and rope courses. We went for the day and really enjoyed it. There's a big inflatable water slide park on route 28, might be Hyannis, not sure. You will be going off the C

Very nice! I believe the Beach Club is near Craigville Beach, which is nice. You'll be in Hyannis which is probably the busiest/most congested place on the Cape. But you won't lack for convenience, like places to eat. Just be aware that route 28 (the main route) gets extremely busy in the summer so plan on leaving extra time when traveling on it. Hyannis has plenty to do. Take a walk down Main St., it's kind of old fashioned, some unique little shops. Also nearby is the Kennedy museum. It's small but gives a nice glimpse of the Kennedy's life on the Cape. You can also take a duck tour

We go to the Cape all the time, it's only about an hours drive for us. What part are you going to?

That's a cool article. I knew a lot of it from doing the Keys to the Kingdom tour but learned a few new things as well.

My kids did this on our last trip. We were only there for one day before we left on a cruise so DH and I hung out at the resort and the kids were on a quest. They were at HS before opening so they could immediately do Toy Story, TOT and RNRC. I think they were out of there shortly after 10. Next stop was AK. They didn't do much here, I know they did Everest for sure, would have to ask them what else. I think from there they went to Epcot. Again, can't remember what they went on. Probably Spaceship Earth and the ride in Mexico. Doubt they would've waited for the bigger rides. Then they headed t

Pirate Beach Party Oct 10 - Contemporary Resort

Seems kind of funny they announce the party just one day ahead of time. Most visitors have every minute planned already.- 1 reply

I've used them several times and would recommend them. On one trip my mother-in-law left her park ticket at home (in Massachusetts!). I called Undercover Tourist and they worked with me to find my order, cancel out that ticket and got her a new one. They were great to work with during a stressful situation.

Kali River Rapids Test - Animal Kingdom
dvccamper replied to BradyBzLyn...Mo's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
I'm not sure why this is new. When we were there two years ago they wouldn't let us bring our backpacks and they directed us to lockers there. I'm sure we didn't have to pay for them. Have they not been there since? -
Wilderness Lodge DVC expansion?
dvccamper replied to shoreline99's topic in Disney and Fort Construction
I don't think so. No construction going on in the existing villas building. They're converting some rooms in the main lodge to DVC and building separate cabins along the water. So they shouldn't be anywhere near the Iron Spike room! But then again we have the history of poor decisions on Disney's part... -
Walt Disney Bio Coming to PBS
dvccamper replied to BradyBzLyn...Mo's topic in Disney Entertainment Forum
I thought that point was interesting too, that Walt so badly wanted to be that easygoing persona that the public knew him as, and yet he knew he wasn't. -
Walt Disney Bio Coming to PBS
dvccamper replied to BradyBzLyn...Mo's topic in Disney Entertainment Forum
We've made several stops to hang out in the iron spike room, particularly when we're staying in the villas. It's really interesting to see the displays in there plus it's a nice cool place to go on a hot afternoon. My girls used to love going in to play checkers there. I really enjoyed the Walt Disney special, learned a lot of things I hadn't known before. If anyone is looking for another documentary there is a good one on the Sherman Brothers, I think it's called 'The Boys.' They wrote many of the wonderful songs in the old Disney movies but surprisingly they had a very bad relationship with -
Walt Disney Bio Coming to PBS
dvccamper replied to BradyBzLyn...Mo's topic in Disney Entertainment Forum
I have it on the DVR, looking forward to watching it later. But I read a review on yahoo this morning and said there's something for everyone, those who love Walt and those who hate him. Should be interesting. -

Magic Kingdom Utilidors
dvccamper replied to BradyBzLyn...Mo's topic in WDW and Disney Park Discussions
We went in the utilidors when we took the keys to the kingdom tour. We had no idea where we were but the tour guide stopped talking at one point and said to be very quiet and tried to guess what we were hearing. It was the clip clip of the horse pulling a trolley up Main Street right above us. -
We're also tossing around the idea of a Universal trip. Anyone ever stay in any of their hotels? I know some of them give you the express pass if you stay there but I don't really know much more than that.

The Boardwalk is a fun place. We've gone in the late afternoon for the kitchen sink over at Beaches and Cream and then rented a surrey bike to work it off. Then once the sun goes down they have performers and some games set up. It's a fun atmosphere.

Hope you have a safe trip there and back and best wishes to the twins as they embark on their west coast adventure!

Sarah and Marty attempt to conquer the World
dvccamper replied to Momof6....aka Marty's topic in Trip Reports
That really is a coincidence! One time I was looking at YouTube videos of different rides at WDW. Well I couldn't believe it but in one of the videos for splash mountain my kids were seated in front of the guy filming it. They were in the whole thing! -

I think I heard about it around July 1st, over on Mouseowners. I would have loved an event like this but I agree, it was announced with very short notice. Normally we book our DVC trips about 8 months ahead. It's unlikely to get DVC accommodations on such short notice, but not always impossible. But I recently just looked into getting a studio at any of the DVC resorts for a few days the first week in October and came up with nothing.
