  1. I see they have come up with another clever way to separate some of my dollars from my bank account. Well done, Disney.
  2. First off....WELCOME! What class of site do you have booked? Since you mentioned 800 loop is it safe to assume premium site?
  3. I for one an happy about this. Hopefully when we are there in October we can catch them.
  4. I know this thread is old but since Dollywood was mentioned I wanted to post this update. According to a local news article Dollywood began bag checks on 3/21/206 http://www.wbir.com/news/local/dollywood-hires-third-party-to-perform-bag-checks/106226645
  5. I call BS on the drone thing. Some "drones" are more than capable of carrying equipment to take those pics, but flying POV would be hard to get into some of those places.
  6. Have you looked at Topsial Hill State Park? Kelly has a couple TR's from there and it looks very nice.
  7. Look how young the boys are! Excited to follow along with this one.
  8. Make sure and post in the "Site Numbers" thread so people can find you (if you want to be found)
  9. Would it be possible you could "schedule" the time you are driving through ATL? If so that would help a ton. When we are headed through (towing or not) I try to shoot for 9:30am - 11:00am and I will take 75 strait through. There are times I will use the HOV lane if traffic dictates but usually it isn't needed. I always stay in the 2nd lane from the right and after each time 75 merges I will move over 1 lane to the left. We can generally get through fairly easy doing that. Obviously if you aren't able to hit ATL at a desired time your experience would be different.
  10. I did some freezer clean out last week....this is what we ended up with for dinner last night. It did not disappoint.
  11. Congrats on getting the new camper out! We visited Ocean Lakes in 2014 and really enjoyed it there.
  12. It's in the top right below the "unread content" link. I had to refresh the page a couple times before it came up, but I finally saw this:
  13. One thing that we do for shorter trips (Nacole touched on this) is easy food. If we are only going for 2 nights I don't want to spend hours cooking\eating\cleaning up that I could be doing something else. We will usually just have cereal for breakfast, quick sammich and chips for lunch and MAYBE precook something nice to have for dinner on Saturday night. Since we have started doing this it has made the short trips a little more enjoyable.
  14. It's hard for me to get excited for a 1 night trip. Even if I don't do a big "setup" outside there is still a lot of work to do for one night. For weekend (2 night trips) about 3 hours is my limit and that might be stretching it a little. We are pretty lucky and have a LOT of campgrounds in the 1 hour range from us so for a weekend more times than not we wont travel more than that.
  15. Welcome! thanks for sharing the pics with us!
  16. I think we have 8. I like that display holder, might be worth looking into making!
  17. I agree annually is likely overkill but I like to know what the bearings look like. When we had our new axles installed I checked the bearing after getting home from the dealer and they were almost dry, I had to add a good amount of grease to all of them.
  18. We likely wont be in a park that afternoon, so maybe we can pull it off!
  19. I use 303 on tires, black trim, and slide seals. Make sure your spray for the slide motor\gears is "dry" and will not attract dirt. If that is the case you can also use that for your stab jacks. I would add check\pack wheel bearing and adjust brakes :)
