  1. Doesn't take much to entertain me. I can just stare at a lake and pass the time. The kids are another story.
  2. I've had 'em. If I remember right, they were pretty tasty. Not the best thing I've ever had, but certainly good. I think I purchased a couple of those and one of those smoked turkey legs at the same time. I was probably pretty engrossed in the turkey leg to give the pretzel a fair shake.
  3. Yep...the first week of December 2009 had a couple of days where it rained ALL DAY long! Didn't stop our fun though. But by the time we arrived at the GF that evening for our Park Fare dinner with Cinderella, we declined the photo shoot before dinner. We looked like a bunch of drowned rats by that time. Ain't nobody woulda wanted to see THAT picture!
  4. I have one of those hitch covers. I'm not in love with it...it's the "busy" design from a couple years ago. And it clips into place, rather than having holes to lock it into place. But, it's not as embarrasing as my Buffalo Bills cover. :purpleflam:
  5. We recently added a 3rd doggie to our family...another rescue. This time it's a Maltipoo. DW has always wanted one, and when the opportunity to adopt one arose we snapped her up. She is an amazing little sweetie.
  6. We took our new TT on its maiden voyage (beyond our driveway) this past weekend to Chattanooga. I decided to stay at Best Holiday...not because it's the nicest campground in the world but because I like it's location. While I wanted to stay in Chattanooga, we wanted to drive to Atlanta on Sunday and this campground, being on the south side of Chattanooga, was convenient for those purposes. The campground is a good base camp...but doens't offer much as far as nice sites or things to do for a family. Sites are lined up in rows and pretty close together. But, we had nice neighbors and had a
  7. That menu looks completely different from the last time I ate there. I remember it being more of a burger and chicken nugget place.
  8. That is a fact. And it seems that more families deal with mental health or developmental disabilities than it seems on the surface. Many don't discuss the issues, partly because of what you stated; others don't seem to understand. So it's always helpful to find a community of people that have experienced similar issues and that you can connect with. And this here is a pretty awesome community. I'm thankful to be a part of it.
  9. We are camping right now, and tonight we made smores with Reeces cups for the chocolate. They rocked!
  10. I got one of the white ones he was selling last year. I went in assuming it was a repro. Either way, I'm happy with the cover. The quality seems good, the design is cool, and I got it for less than the new ones were selling at the Fort for when they still had them. Good luck to any Fiends bidding!
  11. Yeah, the breakfast sounds good, but for us it would be over $100. For that kind of money I better get some face-time with a giant mouse.
  12. Yes, I've also washed my RV at the site. No power washer, just an old fashioned bucket of soapy water and a hose. And beer.
  13. Also, if driving from those campgrounds to PF, you can take a "back route" to avoid the Gatlinburg traffic. If you stay at the Jellystone, ask the family in the office that owns the campground for directions to PF...they will save you significant time.
  14. These changes sound pretty cool! I usually don't like when a ride changes so much and isn't true to its heritage, but these changes look like good updates to me.
  15. Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!! :bday: :partythree:    Happy Birthday, Queen Fiend!!!!
