  1. Our season ended abruptly last summer when I sold our MH. :'( And it started again two weeks ago when we broke in the new TT!! :rofl2:   Man, I love camping!
  2. We certainly ingested a year's worth of sugar that night. But I will say, the desserts were not all sickly sweet. There was a nice variety.
  3. I am going to take the contrarian position here. We did the dessert party one time, around Christmas 2009. And we LOVED it! We went about it this way. Figuring it was a once in a lifetime thing, I didn't mind the thought of the kids (and us) filling up on sugary crap for one evening. But I knew that if we ate dinner out beforehand we would never eat enough dessert to justify what was then around a $20/person charge. So, I planned a late lunch ADR at Tony's Town Square where we all filled up, and we then spent the rest of the afternoon resting at the RV. Went back to the MK for the even
  4. If you ask me, selling slices at the counter that aren't the same as inside the restaurant risks turning off a bunch of people that will try it and decide it's just mediocre pizza. They will decide not to try the sit down restaurant based upon this, even though the pizzas arent' the same. I understand offering standard fare pizza at the counter location, as they probably are constrained on how they make, bake and sell the pizzas...they can't do slices to order in a wood fired oven. But for heavens sake, they should give the location a different name so as not to give the impression that thi
  5. Yet another vote for Roaring Forks here. Also, I like Columbia Harbour House, 50's PTC, Yak & Yeti counter service, the Bakery in France, and my RV at the Fort!! Oh, and can't forget a Southern Smothered Hot Dog at the pool!!!!
  6. Real time, post time, late time, pictures, crayon drawings.....it doesn't really matter. JUST POST SOMETHING!! We all live vicariously through you at the Fort! :rofl2:
  7. to EVERYBODY! The more that join in, the more fun and informative this place becomes. >:D
  8. Not exactly a glowing review. But fun to read, and the pics looked good! That's pricey though for a dinner that doesn't blow your socks off.
  9. I'm surprised that for the alfredo it is only $0.40 to add chicken. Usually that costs a buck or two...and at Disney I would expect at least $2 extra.
  10. Where do I begin? :argh: Clearly I am not the right guy to answer this. I have a checkered history in this regard. But the restraining order expires in September, so I am planning a fall trip to begin my pursuit again.
  11. Now I want to be THERE! Let's go! We'll pick you guys up on the way! Ok, I figure you got on the road by 2:00. I'm all packed and waiting. When you gonna be here? :argh:
  12. Did you HAVE to post this?:argh: That Devine chick FREAKS me out!! :argh: Now I'm gonna have nightmares tonight. ;D
  13. At first glance I thought the blacksmith had a shovel for a head.
  14. Great report, and great pics! Glad you got to extend the stay. Can never get enough Fort time!
  15. Ok, that's the one I thought. Will have to check it out someday. Of course, there are so many campgrounds on my to-do list I may never hit them all!
  16. I agree...on the surface the menu sounds like a great alternative now. But I fear the Italian items like the meatball sub and the chicken parm will be like most Disney Italian food....sub-par with a sauce that tastes like it came from a jar. But I suppose it beats those burgers they were peddling on the particle board....I mean "whole grain" buns.
  17. Thanks for posting these. This is a place we've considered....it's the one with the water park, right?
