I firmly believe laws are made with good intentions, but often go off track because the people who make them are misinformed or maybe just plain stupid or naive. Take the dog poop situation. Granted, nobody likes to step in dog poop or deal with somebody elses dog poop in their yard, but the solution in my community is to take a biodegradable substance like dog poop, put it into a non biodegradable plastic bag, seal it in another non biodegradable plastic bag, and put it in a landfill where it will sit for a thousand years. Oh yeah. That makes sense. But it is the law and we are stuck with it.

OK lets all take a deep breath.  RVing is not dangerous.  If you go to Yellowstone you are more likely to get frightened by the wildlife.  While I do carry I also like to think that caution is the better part of valor.  I do not stay in Walmarts or Truckstops or rest areas.  You can still have a spontanious and unplanned trip if you know what your general direction is by noon and quickly review your camping options over lunch and then call and make a reservation.  Oddly enough, the only time I ever had an incident at a campground was at Fishing Bridge in Yellowstone.  It was a muddy day and someone swiped my door mate while I was gone.  I walked around when I got back, found it in front of an elderly couples TT and Swiped it back.  I've always found the rest areas and the others to be to noisy for my dog and my wife to get a good nights sleep.  I've always found fellow campers (even the drunk ones) to be friendly and they always seem to be looking out for each other.  I like staying in places where I have something in common with my neighbors. To help you out before you make a reservation you should put rvparkreviews.com in your favorite places list so you can look a place up before you make a reservation. This will help you weed out the places that have train traffic at all hours of the night or other conditions you might not like.  Have a great trip.  I loved my trip to Yellowstone so much I stayed in the area a month and would love to go back.  If only it wasn't so fare from South Florida.

Kungaloosh : 1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup Captain Morgans spiced rum
    1/4 cup raspberry brandy
    1/4 cup strawberry daiquiri mix
Mix together in blender with enough ice to make slushy.

So Tater Channing is a basketball playing cowboy that just got out of the army and can't figure out how to unlock the door to his apartment? Seems like a BL to me..definitely not better than a MSEP.

Dave is right. It will transport the beer to the 3000 loop from the remote storage facility. It,was going to be an above ground pipeline, but the environmental impact study showed that it would interfere with the armadillo migration.

I love this campground but Disney only knows how to run hotels. It is painfully obvious they do not know how to correctly manage reservations for a campground. They need to hire a former KOA person to take over the reservation system at the Fort.  You should be able to call and reserve a specific site on specific days. It is crazy how you have to wait until you show up to get assigned a site when the person who assigned it does not know anything about your requirements such as having a 45' triple axle 5'er that you cannot make 70 degree backing turns!  The site may be long enough but if you can't get back into it,  it really doesn't matter.  As most of you know at most other RV campgrounds you can look at the map online and reserve a specific spot.  This really helps in planning for what you need. At the Fort,  the nice people at the pull up check in booths have no idea about any sites. They just say "I am sure the site will work for you because thats the one "they" assigned."  And who are "they" and why can't we talk to them a few days prior to arrival so they know if you have specific site needs?  And how about checking the sewer lines before assigning a spot. We got into our spot after some near impossible turning only to learn the sewer line was plugged!  We had to move to another spot on the last day just to dump our tanks! The Fort does not have a stand alone dump station on the way out!  Crazy I tell you!
And finally I would like to suggest to Disney that they expand the Fort by adding some long Premium pull throughs.  That would be a huge plus for the park.  Heck, why not even build a whole new RV park where you buy your pad either through DVC or traditional sales! Like the Outdoor Resorts Concept only with the marketing muscle of Disney! If anyone knows George Kalogridis, please have him email me. I can help!!!

ftwildernessguy reacted to GaDawgFan.....Kelly in Oh boy, went to the RV show.. In love with a PUP
For what it's worth, I think all sides of the "debate" have valid points. When we first started looking for a PUP, we found we could get what we wanted new for $12-13K, we could get a slightly used one for a little less, or we could get a crappy, old one cheap. There seemed to be no middle ground. Then we saw we could get an AWESOME Used TT for under $15K, so that's what we did. It was almost new and had retailed a few years before for $27K. There are good deals in used PUPs, but I think they're harder to find than deals in used trailers.

Oh that's low. I guess I will tell you that you're v10 is underpowered and your brakes are to small. Plus I need your vin number on the van to make sure the last 2 digits of it match the first 2 digits of your trailers vin so you will have the correct ball size to connect to your brake controller.
