This is great news! This shining new era is awesome! -
Nothing Fancy-Just a Good Old 4th of July at the Fort TCD TR
sherryberry replied to Tri-Circle-D's topic in Trip Reports
Dang! We missed seeing you that day. That was the day we drove over to Tarpon Springs, from Disney. I have almost the same shot of the ferry, taken the following day (we headed to the Fort, to do some shopping). The ice skating - I would have been one of the ones with a death grip on the wall (if I even attempted it, to begin with). -

The most FANTASTIC, STUPENDOUS trip report of all time!!!

Can't wait to read more. BLT is one of our home resorts - I LOVE being able to walk to the Magic Kingdom, in no time at all! I really hope your lake view isn't the one looking straight into other people's rooms.

A summer long TR...with a visit to Cinderella's real castle.

I'm in! My sister got a place at Bonnet Creek last year, and we went over one evening....didn't end up swimming, but played mini golf and utilized their grills for a cookout. Can't wait to hear about your other trips as well. -
First attempt at a Trip Report, Father's Day Weekend
sherryberry replied to FunFinder265....Cody's topic in Trip Reports
Just caught up with this report, too! You did great on your first (of many more to follow) trip report. Have a great time when you head back in September! -
We walked over from Pop one night, for dinner. Art of Animation is a really cute resort - I bet kids just love being here! I was really impressed with the landscaping and how the plants really worked with each section. The plants in the water areas looked like underwater plants and in the Cars section, they looked like desert plants.

I'm in! I think my favorite part of the report, so far, is where all three TCD sisters stayed up late catching up. It's great having sisters and I couldn't imagine being away from mine for too long. :) -
Looks like I'm a Carol!

Great pictures of Pearl Harbor. If I ever make it out to Aulani, I would definitely love to visit there. When we went to Hiroshima, the people were so nice. One lady stopped us and wanted to pray together. It's really something to see all of the remnants of war. We didn't see too many Americans the day that we went, but I'm sure there's plenty that visit.

Last week at Disney, we saw a Hummer pulling a travel trailer, and it looked like it had one of these mounted on the front. I had never seen one of these before, but that's exactly what it looked like. -
We rarely stay at the resorts we own at. We do like having the option to book them 11 months out, though (we own at Beach Club and Bay Lake Tower), just in case we need that. We also tend to stay when Disney is not as crowded, so getting accommodations that we like, is not as hard. If you go during a really busy season and you have your heart set on a certain resort, I would think it would be ideal to own there. I've always heard that the beach resorts (Hilton Head and Vero) have higher maintenance fees. I'm not sure if the difference is enough, that you shouldn't own there - I've never

50 Years, 9 Nights, 5 Beds and 1 Big Fat Mistake
sherryberry replied to DaveInTN's topic in Trip Reports
Just finished your report. Sounds like an awesome vacation! We are DVC members also, and one of our memberships is at Beach Club. We own there for location, mostly (LOVE being right there at Epcot....just like we love Bay Lake Tower for being able to walk to the Magic Kingdom) but Stormalong Bay is also a major draw. I can't get over how deep the lazy river is, though! Between kids diving in constantly and floating around, not paying attention to what's floating towards their heads, I get so stressed floating in there. I'm glad you all had a great time in the pools. What an awesome way -
Wolfgang Puck Express

I've never been disappointed with the food here. When you stay at Saratoga Springs, it's very convenient - a short walk and you're there! -

Sci fi drive in theater restaraunt
sherryberry replied to Starbuc71's topic in Dining Reviews and Information
Oh, man! I knew we should have tried this place. We talked about going to try the picnic burger. This is our last day, though, and we're not heading that way. Maybe we need to give it a try when we come back! Thanks for the review! -
Bummer about the AC and the storms. We're at Saratoga Springs right now, and you can definitely see the wear and tear in some of the rooms. Saratoga isn't usually our first choice of DVC resorts to stay in, but they always have availability. Since we planned this trip sort of last minute, this is where we ended up. We haven't had any major issues. Some of these storms are rough, though. We were napping today and the thunder kept waking me up - I was glad to not be out in a park when all that was going on!

Great pictures! I would love to see all of these sights for myself one day. Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip!

Went back and put captions on the pictures I posted. Didn't do it out of laziness, earlier. :D -
I've tried a few creme brûlées on property, and this is absolutely my favorite!
