  1. I am at a loss. Our trips are usually 9 days or shorter.
  2. We have never received any of those except the bands. I did pick up the sliders at DS customer service. My inlaws gave us a magnet since they received two. I have held AP twice with a few years in between.
  3. We were a few days early I may be able to get the inlaws to pick one up.
  4. So we were on the resort boat today, and I was listening to this man talk to the captain about Discovery Island. He said that he visited many years ago, and they had many "unusual" animals on the island. He described these animals that were "miniature bears" that would follow you along the walkways. The boat captain just said "hmmm". It was all I could do to not laugh at this tool.
  5. I say the only two safe ways are with a travel trailer hauling in the back of a truck with enough payload capacity, in the back of a toyhauler (what we do), or with a truck camper pulling a trailer. Double towing and the platforms are asking for trouble, IMHO.
  6. Woohoo a TCD report and we leave for FW tomorrow afternoon! It's good to be TCD
  7. I think it is the pad length. On 1710 I had to put the about 14' of my 40' toyhauler over the sand to allow room to back the truck into the site.
  8. 80k is outstanding mileage. 60k and the Toyo's are done, but I pull and haul a lot...and my truck is 10k lbs unloaded.
  9. I have BFG AT's on our suburban. Great tires, but they are pricey around here. At least $300 more than AT2's.
  10. My experience with Mickey Thompson tires was not good, but that was many years ago. I had 2 that would not balance out. I have had good service from Toyo. I just put a new set of AT2's on my dually.
  11. Ok I'm filling our 110 gallon tank when we get set up on the 18th ?
  12. We still love to go to the studios. We usually hit TS, ToT, star tours, frozen, and rock and roll. I'll get a margarita and watch the street performers too.
  13. There are not any special rates for long term stay. There are several who winter and I know of one person who has lived there continuously since 2009. There is a CM rate. I am not sure if it is 50%. I bet part time time CM's would barely break even.
  14. Thanks for the info. I was hoping to just keep using it.
  15. I normally would not consider renewing, but we plan on a spring break trip next year and our AP's will expire halfway through. If I renew online will my passes remain active all week or will I need to go back to the ticket booths on the first renewal day?
  16. I like the idea of having my site texted and skip the line, but with a 40' camper I sure do like to look at the book and pick out my own site.
  17. I am not ashamed to admit that I love riding IASW. Each one of our 3 kids always loved it as infants and toddlers. The sounds and colors would have them captivated. Now when we ride it brings back those memories.
  18. I saw on FB that there is a Haunted Mansion in the 1600's
  19. I carry multiple water hoses, sewer line extensions, and an extra 25' power cord. I like to get the 5'er as far over to the non curb side as possible. Sometimes slide extension clearance dictates where we leave it on the pad. My water and power come off of the front right at the pass through storage too. I wish it was near the middle. It seems that I use my extra power cord more often than not.
