  1. I just want to add that I had a Spaten Oktoberfest draft tonight at dinner and it was delicious.

  3. We took our maiden voyage in our new (to us) little motor home the weekend of 9/27-9/30. The MH is a 2006 Forest River Lexington Class C - 26' cutie. I loaded up the golf cart & drove over by myself. The unit drove like a kitten! Rick left work when I left home and coincidentally pulled in behind me at check-in. We were in site 1724 (which we have stayed in before). I backed in with no problems & we were set up in minutes. Minor set-back was when the battery in Rick's Ford Edge died. Thankfully it is under warranty & Ford had someone out within 20 minutes to jump start him - and th

  5. FYI....i just spoke to Kenny who I have absolutelyno reason to doubt because he has been excellent with me at every turn. The poster was refunded 100% even though they waited to cancel right before the cart wasto be delivered. Maybe the poster forgot to cancel earlier? Doesnt matter they either got a full refund or the credit card company is processing the card refund/credit. What more could you want? If it was my company, there would definitely be some sort of cancellation fee if you wait to cancel when I am prepared to deliver the cart. Anyway, i think it is safe to close the book on this

  7. Ditto!! And another geniaism, I couldn't get Spatan out when were beer shopping earlier this season. So it is now "Sputnik" beer. And that was prior to consuming said beer. I have many more of these, but after 10 years Tony knows what I mean. Thankfully. Or at least he acts like he does. :clint:

  9. Great minds, Aaron! Brian talked to Kenny today too. :) I didn't know if Kenny wanted us speaking for him, so I didn't say anything earlier (hence my last, kinda vague post), but since the cat's out of the bag.... Apparently the issue was that Kenny says he never received notice of the OP cancelling their reservation. I don't know the whys/hows of how that was communicated or what failed there, but that was at the heart of the problem. I took from the OP's post that he'd actually talked to someone at Tee Time, but now it doesn't sound like that was the case. Or if it was, someone there

  10. Told you so. When you need to worry is when they tell you it's going to be nice with no chance of rain! Glad to hear you had a great trip. TCD

  11. Note: Edited to correct Monday morning stroll on beach. Quick update: Sunday MONDAY morning, I was up early to take Savannah out. And since it was still dusk and I THOUGHT close to day light, Tony and I walked over the dog walk behind 300 and then down to the beach. The 3 squirly lines, my attempt at the @#$% lights off the cranes seen from the dog walk. :beathorse: Can you tell Tony took over the camera? :rofl2: Well since we were near bushes, and kept hearing grunting noises....PG....we decided to walk up to the Marina from there. To avoid a alligator attack, raccoon attack or/or I d

    Word of Caution

Very fair point and a thought that crossed my mind as well. While I don't personally know of anyone that's had to cancel with Kenny, many people (us included) have sworn by him for many years now. And part of that has been Kenny going above and beyond in the service department, so it does make me skeptical as well. I also know the GC rental business when it comes to the Fort is ridiculously competitive. I would like to see where/what Kenny is publishing as his cancellation policy. I'll have to see if we have anything at home from last year's rental. There's nothing posted to his website, bu

  13. What a beautiful day! It was hot (as you can see by the girls bandannas in the previous photos (you wet then and the cooling gel inside activates--they actually work really well). Kylie had gotten an Agent P. communicator, so we headed to Japan to do some sleuthing. But first, a photo w/ Marie! We stopped and watched Mo'Rockin since they were playing. We ended up watching them 2 different times because Kylie loved them so much. She even asked for a Belly dancing costume for her birthday. The crowds were so light! The girls were asked to come dance with the belly dancer. Ky loved it

    Disney Kids Tent?

I know the tent you're talking about. It's this one, right? : That photo is from 2010, but I know these folks are on the 1800 loop. They have had that tent for years. I've never seen one like it for sale anywhere. TCD

  15. I wanted to take a moment out and advise people to please make sure who you are doing business with and the terms of doing business with this entity. I had planned a long three weekend camping trip at Fort Wilderness and after reading the rave reviews about Tee Time decided to rent a cart from them. The other day the other family that was going to join us had to back out because their 17 year old son has to have surgery on a torn ligament the week of the planned camping trip. I emailed Tee Time 12 days in advance and asking them to advise me what the cancellation charge would be (I was expecti
