  1. Welcome and thanks for the burger heads up....I love Tillamook cheese ....Today was like new members day, I think you're the 3rd I've noticed. I have a Philliy pretzel factory right near me. Pretzels are good the first hour, tolerable the next 12, and I've used day old ones to chock the wheels on my camper. Get a tray of rivets for a belly bloating good time!
  2. Anyone know if this is going back to the front once the WDRR is back up?
  3. Welcome......I think at the 100 loop (my personal favorite ) the sites are deep enough, and the front lot is far enough to not drop your truck off. I think you will have a great time by the planning you are doing. I suggest going grocery shopping at a publix down 192 towards four corners because the walmart on Apopka is a sideshow at times. I'd bring a good shoe scraping type floor mat if the kids will be playing on the coquina as it will be everywhere in the TC. Otherwise have a great time. When you heading down?
  4. Unfortunately, there weren't actually any hotties doing the work!
  5. I saw a company called hotties detailing while staying in Lake Magic CG in Four Corners. Seemed to be doing a good job.
  6. Very nice. Is that Plasma cut or water jet? I could never get the TorchMate and Hypertherm 65 I use to be that precise on Mickey's tail.
  7. I've had problems with every RV fridge I've owned as the newest I've owned was 8 years old. Tapping the coils up as high as you can with the handle of a hammer can help as you've already tried. Simple things to check after ensuring that you don't see any yellow or green staining on the coils that would indicate a career ending leak, AND, be sure that the thermal reset did not pop (its on the burner flu under the cover , and is a small reset button. My current fridge has this issue, not due to overheating, but the button has gotten weak) Many of these buttons were installed during a major re
  8. Hope these help to drive business to you from youtube. Could you make one to show the various Mickey Bar Locations?
  9. Welcome. I predict you will attempting to extend your stay...I can never leave after 5-7 let alone 2 days. Good Luck!
  10. I went to enter but stopped as I thought it was strange they wanted me to update and provide my home address.
  11. Congratulations on clearing a hurdle. I am thankful it wasn't such an arduous process here in PA. Can't beat a 38, it will fire after much abuse and neglect.
  12. Cue the A-Team music......I had been looking on the WDW site for a month to get 5 days in a row during April before Easter. I finally found a way to string together 3 site types to make it happen last Thursday and I frantically emailed Jason to lock them down. Within 3 minutes he shot me a confirmation page with the DAYS I WANTED in the first place WITH ONLY ONE SITE TYPE AND NO MOVES! Said he could have gotten them all along! If B.A. Baracus would have busted out of my linen closet, I wouldn't have been more surprised.
  13. At any rate, I hope they can inject the monorail smell of armpits and band-aids straight into the fabric of the new vehicles.
  14. I saw these ppl before on the 100 loop. They are nice signs, and look to be hand painted details. I wish I could make more of the ones I've made for some members here, but I still like my post the best....though it is hard to transport.
  15. Cool that they themed it....love the hanging folding chairs on the rear ladder.
  16. Remember this.... A travel trailer puts approx 10 percent of its weight on the tow vehice A 5th wheel puts about 20 percent on the tow vehicle. If you max loaded the axles, based on the design of a 5th wheel, you would have in your case, 5200 x 2= 10400 Plus 10400 x 20% = 2080 Total = 12480 rolling down the road max. Every bit of weight you add to the camper is loaded onto the truck hitch weight at the same 20% rate. Most rv manufacturers leave no room for error and depend on the 20 percent hitch weight to make the vehicle legal on the axles.
  17. I've never owned a van, but if I did, if it was a rockin, it would probably be me polishing off a GAG meal.
  18. I just heard it in my mind and it seemed right.....along with the other usual stuff.
  19. Well, we do have a guy here named Jason. If you're in Fort Wilderness touble....... and you can find him...... then maybe you can call.....the J team. Actually he is an awesome guy, that haopens to be a fiend, who will try his hardest to get you the site. I'm sure he'll be along shortly.
  20. Nacole, Add an auxiliary fuel tank, put on motorcraft heavy duty brake pads and go. The change to 5th wheel alone will make you feel like you're not even hauling half of what you were. I'm sure you'll be just fine, if you take your time and look ahead down the road. Many people have hauled more with less, and less with more, but you can go broke trying to get it perfect.
  21. If you can make it to the Hilton Head exit, there is a new place I want to try, Camp Lake Jasper. That puts you only 5 hours from the Fort!
