  1. Great! Thanks for all the suggestions guys.
  2. I have had great success with lastminutetravel.com We have scored some pretty awesome deals, and if they withhold the name, they do show photos that if you just right click your mouse you can search the image on google and it will find the hotels real name 9/10.
  3. I know we've talked about this before, but I couldn't find it....Is there a limit on the number of gift cards you can use at check-in?
  4. I would respond ,but I'd rather see this thread moved to the members section.
  5. Oh yeah? I may just take you up on that Jason! Have you been posting lately? Leaving is the worst, glad it worked out though
  6. On the supply topic- Mickey bars are available and should be placed in RV Freezer for ride home Nacole: From what I know from my friend with chickens, eggs don't need to be refrigerated in the first pace, but double check that.
  7. I don't understand the break even either, we split most of our meals (besides the trails end!). We grill almost every day when at the fort, and usually I do breakfast at the camper too. When we stayed off property and at POP! We probably tied for out of pocket spending that we could have bought the DDP for. The big difference is the fact you must pay full price for hotels when using the DDP deals .
  8. I can never remember if the one on the water is the San Angel. If so, I have mentioned before here that is where we had our best meal ever at Disney. We split this dinner for two, I'd say it was last spring break. I'll look up what we had if that is the right place.
  9. That's crazy. Would be fun to jump out near the truck scene though!
  10. ...I never noticed that on the on the other ones. Fort Fiends subliminal thread awareness!
  11. Its like 19 bucks or so. I think 8 pcs of chicken, 2 sides and a bunch of cornbread. Best deal on property most likely (don't say that too loudly )
  12. That would seem like a smart thing to do, every time we ride bikes over that way it seems desolate. Good find.
  13. Ahhh, the GAG. We get one after we set up, amazing deal. We're crock potting this time for sure, but the only place we plan on eating offsite this time is a breakfast type place that we last went to in Vegas called Hash House a Go Go. We just found they opened one on International Drive. It was on man vs food tv show a while back.
  14. We were so excited to get the new 5th wheel we towed 16 hours each way to Lake Magic for 4 nights back at New Years. Totally worth it to get out of the cold north.
  15. The axle manufacturer most likely says annually, and I do all mine once a year too, but it's most likely overkill. I do it as an inspection, check the seals and adjust the brakes. If you keep the brakes tight and pump a few shots of grease in every few months, you'll probably be ok.
  16. This will look great on the bacl of the camper for next month - I'd love one if still available
  17. Welcome aboard. You will find tons of info here and theres even an app and a Google map with all of the sites pinned out. Myself, I'm a 100 loop fan, and like the faint noise from the marina and easy acess to store and dining. I don't think you can have a bad site at the fort, but some people have different needs. Theres a ton of great videos on YouTube as well. Enjoy your stay AP
  18. Seroisly? Find a campground as nice as the fort in such proximity to a major, heck, even minor attraction that has the turnover it has and I'll go visit there just to see how its managed. You guys are living in the past pining for the good old days. Guess what, these are the good old days, so enjoy them instead if whining. When is the the last time you saw a station wagon pulling a camper! I could just see the photos some of you would post, "Look what we saw towing in the fort today, bet they were wayyyy overloaded!" . And you guys dislike that someone has the means to stay at th
  19. TCD, I'm sorry you are so outraged about the trees, and I dont have time or desire to write half of what you wrote to me but, of course I know that bay lake was there from the beginning. There were once trees where the MK and parking lots are too, and I hope you are not still mourning their fate. If you want untouched prestine land, try a national park for a change. I personally think they do a pretty good job of talking care of the nature that they maintain and OWN, and I recognize I have zero say in what they do with it, just like they have none with my land. If you dont like it,
  20. Change is hard to take, but I'm sure they will put in some trees from the tree farm that will look the part and not be damaged during the work. Don't forget all of Disney is man made, and for whatever reason we all like it so much, we feel we have some say in the operation, which we never will. Now, if they started clearing trees for sone more sites, we'd all be on board.
