  1. I saw what i thought was waterslide yesterday and now you actually made it say waterslide today. I've got disney brain.
  2. Hello Nurse! I think you'll find the transportation is a great thing. We ride the boat to the MK and sometimes to epcot via the second monorail. What makes the buses worth it, is the fact that when you park your car, you have to get on a tram. They are soooo slow because of the people who have no clue how to board or depart one and the fact that they play this ridiculously long warning message. By the time you load up, drive, park, wait for the team and then finally get there- the bus is pulling up and you only took one mode of transport. Hope you enjoy the trip!
  3. Thanks for all of the likes! Shannon, I think it may be an illusion, the white looking parts are raw cherry wood after cutting. When you do these, you have to paint a good sealer on first, then cut, then back paint and sand, then topcoat. The sealer is to keep the black paint in step 2 from bleeding into other areas that you dot want it in. Ive been trying to find the time to work on these. Here's the next step. Painted the entire thing with rustoleum black, then sanded the face with 80 then 100. Used compressed air to blow out all of the crud, now I'm topcoat ing with sikkens cetol. Most
  4. So I've been messing around with a cnc router I have access to and came up with a few designs. First one is a clock, made from plywood and a scrap piece of hardwood. I set the router to .125 deep and used a torch to age it before lacquer top coat. That was before I got the clock parts at michaels. Second one is a camp sign for the fort. Made out of glued up scrap cherry strips. V bit letters and detail lines with a ball end mill pocket around the disney text. I'm going to paint the interior letters black and restain after paint. I'm using sikkens cetol 1 topcat. I'm going to add an led light a
  5. There is a car wash with high bays across the street from camping world on Ponciana. Also, and this saved my trip one time, a Crocs outlet on the left before you get to walmart on 535
  6. Nice post. Florida is amazing for pictures, the sky always looks so perfect. We also had the burnt ends hash and a lemonade, and I wish I would have had seconds!
  7. Thanks Nacole. The price on a 2 day hopper is 267 each. We'll go June and March- even only 4 admissions each is 267 X 4 = 1068. Not to mention the measly discounts!
  8. I bought the darn passes today. We said we were going to skip a year, but the place is so fun for my wife and I. O well, ill make up the money some how.
  9. I agree with the poly lobby- must have been an incredible expense to remove all of the awesomeness for mediocrity. On your Ohana point, ate at ohana in January for a work dinner, my first time- waiter rushed us through the meal , as in 25 to 35 minutes in and out. Food was good and plentiful but did not deliver the hype I had read mainly due to the waiter tearing through the meal to get to his tip, in a way that said, "there are 100 other people waiting to drop 45 a head behind you". Took wife in March for our Fort trip (because she was jealous) food was better and service excellent. Had ta
  10. I think it's a situation that works in blocks- let's say they have 20 3 days, 20 4 days, 20 5 days etc. I wonder if they just have so many to sell of each duration, then by a certain date they convert to general vacancy. This would be a fair way to do it, but some people circumvented the process by dropping days to take the openings. It could be those guests that caused this roll out. All I know is I have not had any problem booking 4 trips there if varying lengths and dates over the last few years. I'll keep an eye on this thread, but in the meantime, can someone volunteer to work in the b
  11. What could be the logic for that? There has to be a good reason
  12. How did I miss this thread?? Shoot em if you got em!
  13. A 2 day park hopper would work, but for 2 people, that's basically 1 annual pass. If we go next spring break, we'd easily break even. I hope Dave Ramsey doesn't read this.
  14. I still can't believe they put p metric tires on trucks at all. Even my f150's had lt tires. I'm running Nitto Dura Grapplers right now. 9 months on them a d they look, ride, and tow great. I suggest looking at them if any one is in the market
  15. Jason just booked us for 4 days with no issue. Is this holiday/ special event related in some way?
  16. To add a little more info here, tire ratings at a certain psi are a linear conversion. If you could hold say 1000 pounds at 100 psi, you could calculate that you could hold 100 pounds at 10 psi. A lot of guys do this on thier tow rigs tires, to adequately hold the weight, without making too stiff of a ride and possibly wearing out the center of the tire. I run 60 pounds of air in an 80 psi max load range E tire on my diesel Ram. Checked with a heat gun often, they show even wear and run pretty cool at highway speeds.
  17. I'll add this reluctantly, we are within 4 days of our AP 30 days past anniversary date discount ending. I just know that if we buy a plain 2 day ticket, then say, go to AK for 4 hours ( that's about all we can take there) you just burned a ticket. I hope they read this and change the rules tomorrow!
  18. DW are heading back to the fort in a few weeks and our AP'S have expired. We love going to the MK at night for a few hours at a time, and like to visit the other parks for a few hours during the day. We are looking at tickets and they are really expensive by the day compared to the AP'S. I'm not even sure what I'm asking here or maybe even venting but I wish they had like an after 8 ticket or something. If anyone has an idea to get a cheap 2 day pass or something I haven't overlooked (already did under cover tourist). Wasn't there a deal at the local walmarts for tix?
  19. Good start. Love the crew cab, and anyone who washes the truck no matter what the weather!
  20. Truck and camper are good with the weight, 5th wheels don't sway. Just wondered if anyone did it- mainly putting a queen box spring in there. I'll let you guys know how it goes .
  21. Does the battery have a cover? Did anyone set something accross the two exposed terminals ( it would normally be a wild ride , but if the battery was almost dead maybe no one noticed) the only other way all of the fuses would be blown at once is if the main wires were crushed in on or near the converter panel
  22. Maybe not all the way, but at least to the big walker mountain tunnel.
  23. Carol, we are up for renewal on our AP's and have about 10 more days to do so. Have you ever heard of any combination working in conjunction with a renewal discount?
  24. We buy them here in Pittsburgh as well. Grocery store here gives 10 cents off fuel for every $50 you buy. A few times a year, they do 20 cents for every $50 and Disney is included. We write the amount on the face of the card with sharpie, and spend them in the parks like cash. I don't like having an open account, or a balance due- Just in case its not me who does not create the balance!
